mtxm
I am also considering Item-clinic cause of their rotatory mandible . Not sure if i should get V-line as i dont want screw to be on my face. You manage to get a reply from DA? Do you have the quotes? Any idea if DA using screw for their vline ? Indeed their results show on their website is good and doesnt seems to have much photoshop. I am still choosing stuck between Regen, smallface , View/DAPRS and ITEM to for mandible. andifleur5
DA I hear is good for face conture. Other place for that is Smallface. Also research everm and white clinics. Some people are going there to consult in May For eyes, I heard these are good places: girin, Migo, real, view, kiwi, Namu, item The best is supposed to be Teuim but think the Dr. is still on sick leave, he's the best of the best for eyes. I will hire translator just because I want to have confirmation of what is said, even if the clinic has its own translator. Plus I need someone to take me around to the appointments so I don't worry with getting transportation and getting lost On your wall, I wrote that I'm getting nose too. Currently my list is short but I am looking into these places: View Trend Able Unique TLps Migo

angel906
I went to seoul last month. this is mine second trip I was doubting to have mandible reduction and cheekbone reduction. Finally I just chose for mandible reduction. Cause the dr. Lee said that mine cheekbone are very prominent and skin sagging is for sure. I visit different clinics regent, everm clinic and idea clinic (not id clinic) I did not choose for regent because it was crowded with people and very busy. I thought they cant give me enough attention, I want to be treated with care, cause its mine face. I did not choose everm it was very difficult to find and it was a very small clinic they did not gave me a good impression. (there was just one patient and the clinic was very small) I consult at idea, (I did mine first surgery at idea for mine nose and stem cell) I asked them about the correction of mine nose (mine nose is slightly crooked) they would correct mine nose with fat for free. I only choose for mandible. They also gave me a good price. Its not crowded at idea they have enough doctors there and staff. They treated me very well like the first time. I read someone mentioned she had a translator to translate your needs for the nurse. I also had a translator who stayed the whole night and the nurse, I totally forget to mention it. The pain after and swelling is tougher then I thought. (cause first time I only did mine nose with dermis and fat grafting for mine face) The third day I had the most pain, but i could handle it (but i thought it would not hurt a bit) There is also a pain in your throat. Im at two and half week post. Still swollen everybody can see ( but i did not tell them i had an operation) I will give an update later

mwol
Hi~ like andifleur5 metioned, the clinics she said are good with eyes but also it really depends what kind of eyes you want. (Teuim will always be my #1 but unfortunately he is sick/absent *sigh*) Do you want dolly eyes or do you want natural? I haven't really looked into fat graft specialist because it's a somewhat standard surgery that most, if not all clinics can do. There isn't a lot of ways a clinic can screw it up unless it's infection (your own reaction to it), they put too much/not enough or the fat itself doesn't last very long. I know some clinics include prp treatment which helps enhance the results and it also has other skin benefits like helping with acne and acne scarring. Earlier in this thread a lot of people say Bandoeyes are really good, since they only do and focus on eyes, their specialty is revision cases. Personally I do really like kiwi, teuimps, ksamsung, tlps, real, view's fat graft before and after though This clinic I found looking through korean cafes seemed to be mentioned quite a lot and I do really like the results. Pretty and natural There is no english site though http://www.eyesusul.com/
meow321
I need v-line, because my chin is wide Why screw is bad for the face? Is it dangerously? About DA- I don't ask about screw for their vline, because i did not know that screw can give a problems! Here is an answer from DA: Hello, The approximate prices for surgeries are as follows. Zygoma reduction: $ 5,000 Mandible reduction: $ 5,000 Genioplasty: $ 4,000 Rhinoplasty: $ 2,500 Ptosis correction: $ 2,500 If you undergo multiple surgeries at the same time, it is possible to discount the total price. Before your visit, I would appreciate it if you book a consultation schedule in advance. Thank you. Sincerely, Sang Woo Lee, M.D., Ph.D. DA Plastic Surgery Clinic I had asked Smallface 3 times about plastic surgery. They ansvered to my to 2 questions, but don't answered to the last - they deleted it (my questions was not the same). And now i don't trust them...Item for me is also one of the selected clinics! I had hear that Regen is a good clinic, but i think that is little bit expensive (for me).

incognito81
If you are OK with clinics tacking on at least 30% more on the cost of your surgery for your translator's commission, then so be it. As someone who is currently in Seoul (4 days post-op!), I can say now that me hiring a transator was a big mistake that I wished I had avoided. The cost of surgery just skyrocketed that I had to give up on my first choice.
qri
so it's better to use the in-house translator that the clinic has?
thoebee
Even if we have already gotten the quotations (via email/online consultation) on hand? The clinics can't possibly go back on their words right?
incognito81
Yes, they can! I even brought that up with Nicole in Pitangui where the price quotes she gave me on the online consultation were much cheaper. Then she gave some excuse that since the main doctor was going to perform the surgery, it will be more expensive. Then, they would find other excuses like now that we have seen you in person, the surgery will be more complicated, blah blah blah. That biatch Nicole lied to my face... terrible liar actually. Second of all, the in-house translator is much sufficient. The only thing the translator I hired did was sit, smile, and nod her head the whole time. If you guys think that deserves 30% commission, which you will additionally be paying for, then go ahead. The additional cost of their commission will be passed on to you.
