babyrose12
On 2nd jan. My surgery was scheduled at 10:00. But get to do it at 11:45. Before the surgery I get to see the fat graft specialist, And face contour + nose specialist. They draw my face with markers. Dr Kim once again asked me what look I want to achieve with my nose then left. I was so nervous bit relieved. All the waiting has come to An end. All that time melissa was waiting n accompany patiently. I was sedated for FAt graft then went blank. I woke up at 9-ish in the recovery room. I obviously had to stay for a night coz of the face contour. Dr yim pat my back gently to woke me up and told me that he went for 220 cc instead of 250cc. The bigger one was too awkward for my body shape. I felt a tinge of dissapointment but decided to trust him. I couldn't wait until I could see my own breast and see if it was really 220cc suit me best. Felt so weak, but so surprised that after the procedures I didn't feel that much pain. Just uncomfortable with all the pipes hanging around and connected to me . 2 Blood pipes connected to inside my mouth 2 more connected to my armpits and clipped under my breast. 1 more pipe for caterer and 1 more pipe for IV drip. Daaaang~ The caterer bothered me most. I asked them to remove it straight away. Breast- muscle pain ache, Bandages around the chest was super duper tight to the point suffocating. But once i learn to breath properly Its totally fine. Nose- is filled with cotton has to breath through mouth Facecontour ~ what shocked me when I woke up was my face is already soooo swollen. Not much pain, just uncomfortable. Fat graft- my forehead was sooooooo funny looking worried it will be looking like that forever. Supposed to be released from tlps at 10:00 the next day on the 3rd Jan bit melissa worried if I was too weak so she arranged me to stay a little longer until late afternoon. Before I went home. They ushered me to the operating table, to take blood pipe out of my mouth. I was waiting in a big room separated into 3 only with curtains. I could hear dr Kim was sort of shaving somebody's bone next to me, he made the clink clank sound before he came to take off my pipe and go back finishing his surgery at the other separated room. I was too scared to open my eyes! At the same time I came to realized that he does his own surgery. He doesn't swap doctors for his surgery. Happy and relieved to know that I'm in save hands^^

mindy89
Hi girls! Wow, reading this forum has been a bit overwhelming for me. I had originally stalked Soompi forums for information on eyelid surgery, of course there was only one thread and only a few clinics and doctors mentioned. Now there's a WHOLE LIST of different clinics and doctors and oh my goodness I don't even know what to look at now. I had originally wanted to do eyelid surgery in Canada or the US but seeing as how cheap the airfare to Korea is right now, I'm really considering flying to Korea to do it. I had only wanted to do my eyelids, but after reading through some of the procedures and seeing pictures, I'm now tempted to do fat graft to my face to flush out my hollow looking eyes and under my cheekbones. Also Teium has this interesting procedure called Buccal fat removal which seems like a good option to slim the jam instead of reducing the mandible. However I haven't come across any posts about it. I love the post with the dates of people who are going to Korea, please keep updating it!. I am considering going in either early March or early April. Please do message me if you plan to go any of those times, I don't like the idea of traveling by myself haha. In the meantime, looks like I need to do more research *.*

babyrose12
At tlps ^^ they've won my trust! I'm really glad I picked the place to do my surgeries. The staffs n nurses were being at their best to make my experience there as smooth and comfortable as possible. Except for one consultant, maybe the manager? She glared at me trying to bargain the price for that low! Lol. I don't care tho, I got what I wanted at a very competitive price and the outcome is just exactly what I expected. That's why I decided to share my experience as my token of gratitude.
taraunnie
Thank you ^ ^ I haven't read much in the way of reviews of TLPS.... But I am happy to read your experience. Is it a very big clinic? It sounds like a very well run place and it was good you were looked after so well! Was it hard bargaining the price? I feel that if I did the surgeon would do a bad job as if to say That's what you get for trying to pay less! Idk lol... I'm really glad you are happy with your result ~~
babyrose12
They have their own building. 5 storey building. Pretty well established place. But not overtly huge. The place is located at Cheongdamdong next to abercombie & fitch store. It was pretty hard to bargain with the manager, but I plead firmly n nicely. I got further reduction, in replace she glared n glared at me, lol, consultants for their percentage of what we pay, I heard. But the translators don't. The price doesn't affect the service I think ...
babyrose12
3rd jan went guest house around late noon by taxi, too swollen and too weak to do anything.walk around with blood pipes And swollen head is pretty tough. The 2 blood pipes for boobs still attached, and painkiller pipe attached to my wrist. Spending my days and night drinking packs of pumpkin juice in replacement of water. Protein powder, soy milk, zinc supplement, chlorella tablets and vitamin C Slept in an angle position, had to wake up a few times to gargle n drink more pumpkin juice, mouth m throat felt super dehydrated. Face super swollen lips too swollen I drool! And my eyes is just 2 slits. I start to feel sorry for my self. Looking super ugly 4th jan still the same routine, went to tlps at 9:30. Took my painkiller drip, took the jaw and zygoma puller, replace the breast bandages to less tight bandages. At this point everything still uncomfortable, no sharp pain, muscle ache kind of pain on the boobs. Face more n more swollen . Got to see a little of my breast.couldnt look down properly coz of my big puffy head. Breast was super duper huge. I'm glad the doc went for 220xc, not 250cc. I can't imagine how I'd look if I went for the bigger one. 5th jan stayed in the room all day. Pumpkin juice still in replace of water intake. Plus all the supplements n soy milk. Body strength, better than 3rd n 4th feeling sorry for my swollen face so rather to stay in the room
