Best Plastic Surgery Clinics in Korea -read 1st post before posting.

Okay, thank you. I was really suspicious when she told me she would make the reservation for me. Because I know there were people this forum talked about who took commission from behind the backs of customers, like Zoe. Someone on this site had a good experience with this translator though, so I was thinking about it.

let me give you a different perspective:
give me $5000 right now. I will come with you to korea, help you heal and get food for you and take you to the clinics and back to your hotel and I won't take commission. i can also make the appointments for you or you can make them yourself. you won't have to pay for the taxis, i will pay them for you. sound fair? if yes, let me know... you won't lose more money than with any of those translators.

eyelids and rhino  well possibly lip reduction if i see some really good b&a but this procedure is uncommon and i've seen some that became thicker after surgery in naver. i will have 2 days for consultations and hopefully have my surgery on the 12th.

what about you? how long are you staying?

I'm thinking facial contour. I wish I had fuller lips lol! I'll be staying 2 weeks so I think I'll only have 1 day for consultations. Have you shortlisted your clinics yet?

i think my lips are so thick that they become the focus of my face (or maybe it's just a complex i have). i would like to go for facial contouring too! but unfortunately, i don't have enough funds atm. where will you be consulting? i have booked item, regen, tlps, girin and daprs. will be calling dream either tonight or tomorrow. mdm bok soon has been a great help! i'm just really grateful as she helped me book 3 of the clinics and offered to accompany me to girin and daprs too as there are no english translators there.

may i know where are you from?

wow! what a coincidence!! we can visit each other often hehe..
im interested in chungdam-u for skin treatment before surgery if i have enough funds left. wonder if it's possible to do so without reservations?
hmm i'm not comfortable with posting my kaokao id here coz i stupidly used an id that my frens can recognise me by. do u mind giving urs so i can add u?

oh and mdm bok soon just recommended me to go jw. i know they are good for nose but what about for eyes? went to have a look at their website and i'm not impressed with their eyes b&a..

No worries, I made mines unsearchable too. Why don't you pm it to me when u reach 10 posts?
And she recommended jw to me too but I'm not doing my nose so I skipped it. I am still deciding on eyes atm. Are you going for a natural or more dolly look?

Oh sure! I'm leaning towards dolly but at the same time I'm afraid it might look fake and weird without makeup. That's why I have both natural and dolly specialist clinics in my list. Girin's eyes are really nice but most of them have eyeliner on in the "afters" so I'm not sure if it affects my judgement.

Warm regards everyone

I've been lurking the site for awhile and have been a silent reader but now that my trip to Seoul is coming soon I thought I should contribute more and get more info from you guys

So here's my story:

I had double eyelid and rhinoplasty at a small clinic called Point 3 years ago and the results were so-so. It was a one doctor-operared clinic and i regretted the fact that i hadn't done more research. Well i guess because i was so new to the world of plastic surgeries i was quickly fascinated by the premise of having my surgeries done in Korea and trusting the rexommended clinic by the local medical agent i had (how naive).

Well fast forward to 2014 lol, my mom and her friend wanted to have facelift and here's the chance for my revisional surgeries plus a lil bit of something more lol. So i'm planning of having revisional eyelid and rhinoplasty with fat grafting on my forehead and breast augmentation.

After asking around my Korean friend he recommended me Dream and Regen clinic. After looking at their web site i'm leaning more for Regen and i xontacted a docdoc after seeing bongqiuqiu's posts. Everything was arranged but guess what? Docdoc decided to shut down their medical concierge service in Korea so i turned up going with another medical agent. Tje reason why i signed up with medical agent is because 1st of allcontacting Regen is sooo hard¡¡¡ I tried everything, email n calls but the reply i got was done half-heartedly and i can't have a skype consultation when asking directly. When i called several times they just told me they will reply to mt email but each took them several weeks to reply with half-hearted answers like sorry we can't set up a skype consultation and the dr's sxhedules cant be booked now etc etc. Totally not helpful and i cant even know which doctors are specialists in the surgeries that my fam and i wanted.

through docdoc before it got closed down i got the info of the specialist doctors for the surgeries and when i compare it with the answer of the manager of Regen after the arranged online consultation and the info from the new medical agent i had, it turned out to be the same names so i was quite relieved.

so anyway does anyone recently has experience with Regen? Ow btw the recommended dr for my multiple surgeries is dr kim ki kap and i'll be in Seoul from 14-27 April.

2 weeks post op (v line,2jaw,cheekbone reduction)

* It's been 2 weeks since i've had my surgeries and so far so damn great.
*Had a Dr.'s appointment today and was told I don't have to wear the elastics anymore(thank God because that was a pain), and also I can chew whatever I want as long as it is not meat or anything hard
*I realized something important though, this whole time I thought Dr. Yoon operated on me but he didn't.Coming to think of it I only saw him during the consult.
*Evrytime I go for my appointments I see a doctor(I dont know his name) but I think he was my surgeon because he tells me what to do at home. He's really sweet though and I think he did a great job because I can finally see a difference in my face after 2 weeks.
*At this point,my face is visibly slimmer, this still isnt my final result because my face feels stiff/fake and my upper lip is sightly larger than my lower lip but I don't have blubber lips anymore.
*When I first got here I felt ugly because everyone was sooo beautiful and the korean guys weren't even looking at me.I watched them eyeing other girls but they weren't eyeing me so I kinda felt bad. Things changed tonight when I went out. I was awestruck when heads were turning and at first I thought I had food stuck on my face but after awhile I realized "omg, they are checking me out".So I definately feel better at this point.
*I have no regrets,I love the v line and cheekbone reduction but the 2 jaw made the most difference to me.My lips still have swelling but they are smaller and poutier like ive always wanted
*The migraine is almost gone,it feels faint at this point and I noitce that my left jaw spasms.Meaning,it quickly moves forward sometimes 10 times a day.I read a jaw surgery blog and i think the spasms are normal and will go away over time.It doesnt hurt it just feels weird
*Btw rice porridge was my main meal and sooo easy to make.I just made rice in a rice cooker then poured rice and water and milk in a blender with a lil sugar(make sure you get a paste like consistency) and heated it up after.that was my meal, and sometimes i just had it cold so i could have rice pudding.the same thing can be done with corn from the can.I normally love fresh fruits but they are pricier here n korea than in the states so i settled for can.
*Also, tofu was the only thing i could chew.eggs hurt my gums and so did pasta so tofu was another(and till is my staple meal)depending on where you go it can cost 1500won(which is pretty cheap).
*Food still tastes weird at this point and eating and talking is a challenge. When I eat I feel like im chewing my gums so i try to be gentle.

ifeel the same. i LOVE girin eyes but idk how much is just makeup... i want dolly eyes but i don't want them super fake without makeup. but i wear makeup almost always (it's really just a habit, as soon as I wake up...) so i don't know if it really matters... i would be so happy with dolly eyes if they're made well. i don't think i would be happy if i got surgery to make my eyes look good 5-10% of the time (=when I'm not wearing makeup), better get surgery for the 90% of the time...
