Is this over 90% common? What if you do the reduction at a younger age? Earlier 20s?

Hey fantasyface,
I was thinking about different zygoma procedures and while I don't really want a reduction I wanted it shifted a bit. One of the clinics did a study about face lifts and in a wide face a face lift looks better in conjunction w zygoma surgery bcuz otherwise it will give u the pulled look. While right now, I am thinking on zygoma surgery, maybe it will b beneficial in the long run since I will probably do a facelift anyways.

I just wanted to share with you how it felt to lose a translator.

When i lost the services of the first translator, my heart sank. I felt like I hit rock bottom. I started doubting myself as an individual and the surgery procedures. I didn't know how I would survive with the language barrier, but more so if I would be able to find someone who was willing to translate for me, especially since the clinics I wanted to go to seemed to cater to the local ppl, hence i m not sure if they would have an English consultant.
I am extremely blessed because I was able another translator and explained the whole situation to see if she even wanted to take my case on. Luckily, she was very understanding and said she would.

I am not here to say one translator is better than another. I believe everyone will find a translator that they will feel connected to. Email them all and see which one u have a bond with Good luck everyone.

Probably the only REAL review of her services recently. I think that anyone with some intelligence will see that everyone here who has commented negatively, has not even used her services.

Do your own research and contact her. She has been very professional in arranging everything for me and I am lucky to have her helping me. I fully recommend her to everyone here as her reviews speak for themselves.

I'm guessing that a lot of you use her for information and probably send her many emails asking her to do the research you should be doing. That would say to me that you aren't fully prepared and maybe not totally serious about surgery yet.

Oh, remember when Shane77 was getting a two-jaw from ID? ID gave him by mistake, a quote of 26M won. When Zoe heard it, she was surprised and inquired further causing the quote to drop to just 18M won. And Shane77 wasn't even Zoe's client. Shane77 never disputed this fact that Zoe helped her, even though Shane77 wasn't on best terms with Zoe....so I took it as a true incident.

Also, no offense to you all, but if Zoe from your emails sense you are "high-maintenance" she'd rather do business with someone else. If I were in her shoes, I'd be happy to offer "extra" services such as post-op care, buying foods, etc for the patient, BUT only if I have time to do it and if I like the patient....see what I mean? I would not commit myself to do these "Extra" things upfront for my clients, because then, my clients will have HIGH expectations of me and when I don't deliver, they get upset/mad.
But if me, as Zoe, meets a client and finds my client to be very likable and I happen to have extra time, I'll do extra stuffs for her without being asked. And since the client isn't expecting great post-op care from her, the client will be pleasantly surprised when Zoe goes the extra mile for them.

Personally, I'd like myself to be known as a translator rather than a caretaker or nurse (excuse my language). If Zoe starts doing just the caretaker part, more and more clients will ask her for the same...she'll be just known as Caretaker, not a translator anymore...so it's understandable if she doesn't want it.

For me, Zoe's post-op care also delivered. I can't say what it is, if I say it, then everyone who hires Zoe will expect her to do the same thing. But she went above and beyond what was expected. My aunt asked me, "dear Lord, how much are you paying her now that she's done all these things for you?"

Having said all these, there was one thing I wished she could have been done better...so I'll give her 85 points out of 100.

I think the famous clinic among locals was the old The Line clinic. And if you pay attention more, TLPS are initials for The Line Plastic Surgery.

I went to both TL and TheLine. TLPS is actually a small clinic with 3 floors in a building, 1 floor for consultation, 1 for aftercare, 1 for surgery. Maybe more than 3 floors coz I saw a staff went down to B1. And outside the building, there was an ad saying TL - TheLine.

The new TheLine clinic is bigger, 1 ground floor of a whole building for reception, 1 floor for consultation, 1 for surgery, 1 for aftercare. I talked with a korean girl here, and she said that she also read it on the korean community that TheLine is very good, thus the reason she came.

I had good impression with both the 2 clinics since I had surgeries at both. They treated me super nice, maybe nicer than the others coz I knew about both TL and TheLine (think there is competition between those 2?)

They both have English translators. They both gave me their emails and kakao just in case there d b anything wrong with my surgery.

Half the doctors stay, Half move. Even the nurses and staffs do. The consultants who worked for the old The Line clinic are promoted to managers of the new clinics. So i had the impression they just split to 2 different new clinic.

For the consultation, they were not pushy unlike the other clinics. Because they already knew that I had full knowledge of risks and complication, I did research before coming, I stand firm with my decision.

That was the reason why, when I randomly asked whether I needed acculift or vline to have a smaller face. The consultants at both clinics honestly advised I absolutely shouldnt touch it.

But I was a little turned off by TLPS because the price was higher than TheLine even though they knew that they cant fool me. Maybe because the manager who gave me the price at TLPS was new and didnt know me, but the manager at TheLine did and she even check the record how much I paid the last time at the old clinic.

You dnt believe me if you knew how much I paid at TheLine (new) and The Line (old) ) The staffs even had to admit that I got the same price as the locals.

Also, do u know if the better docs for eye and nose stay in TLPS or The Line?

Post Op Day 16 - Back in Seattle

Hi guys, just wanted to give an update. I had my nose done on Oct 5th and today was my first day back to work (Oct 22nd). I only told two of my co workers before I left for Korea. When they saw me this morning, they were totally suprised that my nose looked so natural - they probably wouldnt have noticed unless I said anything I like my new nose!!!

I'm still a little swollen (only i can tell) and nose is still sensitive. I can see that the swelling decreases by the day and I cant wait until majority of the swelling goes away.

Overall, rhinoplasty process in Korea was super easy and lucky for me the major swelling didnt last too long...maybe like 3 days. I was walking around Seoul w/o a mask on post op day 6. I did A LOT of icing the first two days and drank butt load of pumpkin juice.

Lastly, I would reallllly recommend going with a friend to Korea and sharing a hotel room because you'll be bored out of your mind being stuck in a room for days. Plus you can save on hotel cost by splitting 50/50 and its just nice to share the pain (no pun intended) throughout the recovery process.

I'm planning to go back to Korea for my eyes early next year and I'm going with a friend. Where are you getting your eyes done? Do you guys recommend certain places that specialize in eyes? I read that Teium is really good w/ eyes? thoughts??

It is good to hear feedback abt Zoe from former customers so that everyone gets to hear the positive and also negative reviews and we can make our own judgement.

More imptly is that we get to share information around... that's the spirit of having forum and this forum helped me a lot as a lot of forumers have been very kind with their updates and feedbacks on clinics and translators.

I got it done at BK w/ Dr. Kim. I heard he got a lot of negative reviews Thank goodness I'm happy w/ my result

hi fantasyface, could you pm me the name of the clinic that translator hates? jus want to take note. with regards to the change of doctors during surgery thats like wow~ but i reckon clinics/hospitals with reputation would not risk that?

Yeah same. I'm really nervous about going to BK. And I emailed them and the girl was very very vague with the information I wanted. Causing me to become discouraged in going there at all. Thinking that the translators are like that there. Are they?
