No I received a 3mm impaction. This is the length of my face where they trim the maxilla. The mandible is the jaw line right below your ears.

They gave me a 5mm set back. Moving my mouth back. This was a huge amount in facial measurement. This will drastically change your profile.

I believe the 3mm was for the gummy. I wish he had explained more information to me before the surgery. But I believe they leave out details incase the patient backs out of the procedure.

Me on the other hand still want to look like me, just improved and a Caucasian nose will NOT look good on me, but that's me and my face

But let me be clear - no outright negative reviews like 'they ruined my face' just words like 'unnatural' & 'plastic' being thrown around, maybe scarring and healing taking a longer time (& recover time is affected by skill of Dr, but obviously other factors and not all about the Dr). So no hating here - just I want natural and I think view has a different idea of beauty from me that's all

Thanks so much for replying. I was like nooooo! Aghhh! I keep shortlisting n shortlisting. My list is sooo short now, pretty soon I will have no clinics left. Lol but phew, I can still keep them on my list.

It's not a 3mm mandible reduction. I was referring to the impaction of the pre-maxilla.

Basically they cut out some length of the upper gum. It looks shorter when I flip up my upper lip. I have no clue why I got a mandible reduction.

Still regretting that I ever had 2 jaw...I recently found out that I gotten a mandible reduction. This explains my jaw line...i was unaware. Seems like the doctor gave me a feminine jaw line. I am very upset about this.

I didn't want to post publicly yet about myself because of the timing. So I left my last update on a positive note.

The best thing now, I'm finally chewing and eating real food.

I actually had my nose and eyes done at Grand. Not bad but I still need alar reduction (didn't do first time) and revision on double eyelid (grand didn't do my double eyelid, they just widened my inner and outer corner). I'm still holding my review about them because there is scar tissue left on the outer corner of my eye and I'm unsure of what to say... they said I need more time. It's only been 4 months so I'll keep ya posted. I'm pretty satisfied with my results except for this open tissue because it's noticeable and I can't put makeup over it.

Did you get veneers done? Is that why you can't get braces?

Hi there would you be kind enough to share your b/a pics for ur eyes? I'm planning to do inner corner and I'm really scared about scarring. Also how many days did it take for u to look normal? I'm going back to work after like 10 days post op and really nervous my co workers will notice. Appreciate ur feedback!!!!

It's been a long time.. so I can't remember well... I just remember it was super soft when I felt it before the operation ( they let me feel it during the consultation). And it's permanent and has less side-effects as I remember...
