Best Plastic Surgery Clinics in Korea -read 1st post before posting.

Today is my 4th day post operations (full incisional + epi + ptosis) from teium. Cost 3.7 million. (decided to repet this again in case anybody asked again).

My dwelling had gone down by at least 50-60%. But I still don see full ptosis correction, a bit concerned a my biggest problem is ptosis. Hope to see good results soon.

I put on ice pack for 3 hours daily (scattered timings). Today started hit compressor. Think it works. In addition, I eat only fruits, cereals, bread,water, milk, pumpkin porridge. Abalone porridge, ginseng chicken.

Ate medicine every 6 hours. I guess all these are helping with speedy recovery.

Sinecch is a medicine that helps with reduce swelling and bruise. I did not manage to buy in SG. Internets sells it at $30-40. It is $130 at teium. Very expensive. If u r going back to workin 7-10 days. That might help! But personally I never tried before. Heard from previous formers.

Also folks, I felt that after eye surgery, we should use plastic eye patches to cover eyes. A bit disappointed teium never provide this but I brought from Singapore. You need medics
Tape to fasten it to yr eyes. It will prevent u from touching yr eyes while u sleep...

Prior to operations, I prepared the following next to my bed.

- iPad
- handphone
- water
Vitamin c
- honey
- fruits and nuts
- bread

Fruits and milk in fridge.

365 mc provided a list of to do And not to do list. It would be great if teium has such service too. I also requested to have stitches remove in the 6th day instead of 7th day.

Thanks for the review. It helps alot on letting me know what to expect.
My main concern is also to fix the ptosis repair followed by to have larger eyes.

Now I'll talk more about the consults... I came here planning to do Double eyelid, epicanthoplasty and ptosis correction. Every clinic made me feel good so when it came down to decision making I had such a headache! Though I would say, all the doctors had different styles and personalities lol! Also, all the clinics are fully booked with doctors working all the way up to 10pm at night but they will try to accommodate foreigners... and I didn't try to negotiate any price.

First clinic I went to in the morning was Designer. It was located away from apgujeong in chungdam.. so I took subway down to Apgujeong and took a 10 min cab ride there. Nice modern interior. I was the first customer that arrrived and got to see the surgeon almost immediately Doc was a little reserved, calm and quiet, but hes the type that will try to accommodate your wants and likes. I think he can understand a little english but he doesn't speak very well so he chooses not to haha! I think hes the very artistic type. The consultant that took us had her eyes done 1 month ago. You can tell its swollen and thick but otherwise it looks very nice and pretty on her considering it was just one month ago? Total: 5 million won for full incisional + epi + ptosis, 4.5 million for partial incision + epi + ptosis. Suggeted full incisional for best result, skin removal only.

Second clinic was Real Cosmetic. Many people in the waiting room. Saw a few I believe to be consulting for mandible reduction. Seems busy. Met the consultant first and discussed before getting to see to actual surgeon. Her eyes were pretty and tapered. Looks very very natural but I guess surgically enhanced.. I guess haha. Told me I didnt need ptosis, just need a lot of skin removed. Showed me some examples of people with apparent ptosis but did just skin removal. All looked pretty good and natural! Also, she said I can either do embedding method or incisional. After that the doctor came in (i think he just finished a surgery), he was quite late in age and looked very kind! Can speak good english. He was very cute too hahaha. I think his style is more to the conservative and natural side. For those looking for very very natural results, Real is good. Recommended lateral but he said that since I'm so young, I can decide on lateral when I'm older. Told me actually everything is optional too hahaha. Total: 3 million won for full incision + epi.

Last clinic was Migo. Nicole told me that Migo is partnered with KBS and many KBS actors do their surgical work there. They charge 10,000 won for consultation, refunded if you do your surgery there. Very professional looking. The consultant there looked pretty in a mature way. Kept telling me that they will do a good job haha. When the surgeon came in I think he just finished surgery too. Very very very very headstrong and confident person. Recommended everything, incision, ptosis, epi, lateral. When asked if I can not do lateral, he said ok. Everything was ok lol. They are very busy so... yea. Total: same as designer, 5 million won for full incision + ptosis + epi.

Those were the 3 clinics I visited. All consultations were brief, briefer than I expected. After that I went to starbucks and literally stared into space for 3 hours because I trusted every surgeon's skill and couldn't decide at all. No pressure from Nicole either but only advise. Then it was getting dark and late I had to go so I picked a clinic, but I still feel a little heartpain over not choosing the rest. I wished I can pick all arghh! So I'm not gonna reveal which clinic I picked, but I'm having surgery tomorrow evening. For those of you considering eyes, these clinics are all well known locally for eyes and it is worth getting all their opinions Because its peak period now, their schedules are all full as they tried to squeeze me in. Day 5
A little better today, I started to use heat packs on my eyes and face. Which is just a towel drenched in hot water, wring dry and put on my eyes and face, over and over again. I did this for 30 min. This was heavenly and reduced the swelling a lot! I have started to walk around the area and found the Chinese Restaurant behind Young Dong. I also bough Viet noodles from across the street. Non Stop drama watching. Headband is uncomfortable to wear, but I still liked wearing it. it made me feel more snug.

Day 6
Today they removed the CAST on my nose! YAY! They also removed the visible stitches, this also hurt a little. My face is still swollen, but my eyes are better. Still black and blue. I met with both Doctors, and they checked on my results and told me the dos and donts. The nurse made a mold of my nose as a protector to wear at night time. Making the mold was quite painful as it required pushing into the nose. To be honest I think I look like the blue people in Avatar. My nose is higher but my eyes are still swollen and pushed together. I could hardly recognize myself with the nose cast off. But I am starting to look human.

People, before your surgery remember to take photos! Otherwise you will forget what you used to look like...

I think it will be at least one more week until the bruises start to fade away. I will be going to my last appointment with Regen tomorrow. Final checkup and needle shot. And flying away on Sunday.

Not much happened after Day 2.. It was basically just waiting everyday and lying in hotel and walking to my checkups. But everyday, there is a little improvement.

I am supposed to now massage my nose so it has better shape and wear the protector for one month.

Problems I am having now. My nose is still runny, there is still congestion. My nose drips if I walk. So I really hope this goes away in another week or so.

Oh yeah possible bad things that may happen, I have received emergency meds just in case an infection come up. If for some reason the meds do not work, then 1 out of 100-200 people may need to get the implant removed. I asked if they would do it for free. And yes they will.

As for Chin, there really isn't much that could go wrong. Sorry, it's 2am in the morning and this is it for now. I will let everyone know of my drippy nose and avatar face in a week.
Hopefully I will look more normal.

One final funny thing, Regen issued me with a certificate to say I had surgery just incase immigration won't let me pass on Sunday.

I am bound for my flight to Seoul in about 10mins. Will be going to Teium, JW, View, Regen and ID next week to consult for multiple surgeries(eyes/nose/face). The trip that i've been anticipating for for so long is finally going to materialize. I'm overwhelmed with all sorts of rollercoaster emotions when i think about going under the knife. This feels so surreal. Hopefully I won't get cold feet and chicken out last minute at the surgery table. I'm like the lowest pain tolerance person I know.

Will definitely update again once I'm safely in Korea. Pray for natural, beautiful results for me girls! xx

Selling went down by 50%...tt sounds really comforting. I will try to get the instructions from Banobagi website. I think all the clinic do not provide the shield, but thanks for the great idea cos my biggest worry is that I will hit my own eyes when I'm asleep...haha.

I get to know a new friend today and she is so familiar with Korea. She mentioned that Dream is great and recommended by her korean friend, so I might put it in my list too.

I'm not so worried abt my meals since my friends and boyfriend will be with me for the whole trip. Phew....
