Well today there were no post ops patients except me, omg, prolly so disappointing for the 3 gals. I m still hopeful that i will look like the girls in the waiting room when i went. I m supposed to start deswelling more from today on, so keeping my fingers crossed.

Okay so i asked Ms. Kim again about her email bcuz ive been getting a lot of pmz and she reluctantly said it was okay to give it out, but she said okay! yay n she said that please understand it might take a long time for her to reply. Shes probably thinking this chick wont stop asking til i say yes. Hehehe

I'm post-op 2 days now. Liposuction on thighs and calves at 365mc.
First on 365mc - i second what other forumners have said about them. Professsional and friendly. Everyone from the consultants, nurses and doctors has been nice. I did not hire an external translator, luckily, their in-house translators did a pretty decent job.

Clinic occupies 4 floors, B2 and levels 6-8. Smallish at each floor but clean and organized. Customers are coming in and out but the flow is managed well such that you don't feel it is too busy.

Dr. Lee, the chief surgeon, saw me on the consultation day. He thought i will have a good effect on my thighs but as dramatic on my calves. I wanted him to operate on me the next day but he was fully booked until today. Also, the clinic charges a premium for his service. Not wanting to delay and under the assurance that all other doctors are as experienced, i decided to go ahead with the surgery with another doctor on the next day.

Dr. Kim who operated on me came across as very kind and have good bedside manners. Up till the surgery everything went on smoothly. It was only just before that the nurse has to spray me with the brown antiseptic lotion. Imagine standing there naked and being sprayed with cold water. i was shivering non-stop but luckily within ten minutes i was out from the IV sedation.

Waking up from the operation, i was already dressed in the compression garment and my stockings. Didn't feel any pain just dizziness. Rested for a while in the recovery room before taking the subway back to the hotel. yes, i felt fine enough to take the train but have to walk very slowly.

Post op 1 day - that's when it is the hardest! Oft read ppl wrote woke up feeling that a truck has run over your legs, though i've never experience that, but i can say that's absolutely true!! I used to be a frequent runner but never nver have i experienced such muscle aches. from the hip right down to the ankle.
Getting down from the bed took me 5 minutes. Before operation doc already warned to get up very very slowly because of the large fluids lost. this should be the #1 warning! Even though i was very conscious of it, the dizzyness suddenly hit me after i used the bathroom. I just fell and very luckily i didn't hit my head and lay on the bathroom floor for a while until the dizzyness dissipated. i remember thinking housekeeping did a good job. Floor is very clean! ha! Just remember to move slow motion 100x that you normally would.

If i could go back in time, i would hire a help. Because of the swelling and bruises, simiple things like dressing yourself took forever. Getting up from the couch/bed became a chore. My feet is swollen like an elephant feet. Couldn't wear the boots and could barely fit into the loafers and wore them like slippers. Also was too painful to wear track pants so i just went out with the compression garment with the skirt over it. Look totally weird and cold but at this stage couldn't be bothered.

Went back to the clinic this morning for disinfection and wound cleaning. Nice to hear comforting words from the nurses. Will get better each day!! Nurse had her tummy liposuctioned so I appreciate her empathy. Feels that even though they have seen so many customers, they still took care to explain and care.

To accelerate the recovery, doc also advised to walk for 30mins a day. Not easy - i just waddle around in the hotel room.

Sorry for the long post. Not trying to scare anyone from liposuction but i think going through this, i think one has to be very very prepared and will help to have someone with you. I'm still positive . Already i feel better than yesterday.

Omg! Im so glad u came out! U looked so cute. Honestly, u hardly even looked swollen! Well, i mean compared to what i looked like a cpl days ago.

Anyway, most of the well known big clinics do lipo. i.e. the clinics names that you see over and over, BK, Regen, Banobagi etc.

But 365mc (http://eng.365mc.co.kr) is probably the biggest in South Korea. They focus on lipo and weight loss treatments only.

I would also suggest doing some research about Star M Clinic (http://www.starmclinic.com). Judging by their website they also seem to focus on just Lipo. I don't read Korean but i've gone through every menu option and its all Lipo. The doctor seems to know his stuff.

Hiyah! Apologies for my tardy update! I was so busy pigging out on yummy Korean food and going a little overboard with buying skin care and makeup (so freaking cheap here!) in Myeong dong! But more so, I was so worn out from all these PS consultation business! Totally didn’t have the energy to come online at all the past few days.

I visited View, Migo, Profile, April 31st, Nano, L&S, ID and Regen over the past few days and I will write a longer review post-op.

My initial plan was to do multiple surgeries (eyes/nose/face) together but have decided on zygoma reduction and v-line only on this trip.

So tomorrow is the big day! I am scheduled for face-contouring surgeries with Dr Oh from Regen at 10am. I’m uber uber excited at the moment and am crossing my fingers that he will deliver the results that I want!

Karime, wintertht, thiefcat, babymode, cjchen, snowstream and the rest of the girls who are recovering in Seoul at the moment – I hope you girls are healing beautifully! Sending lots of warm hugs and positive thoughts over to all of you! x

And to fantasyface – Thank you for being such a great roomie, listening ear, and support the past couple of days! Be back to fill winter's and your room with my chitter-chatter on Saturday! Dr choi is the one who did a cute job on the nurse eyes at view. Good luck! I liked his work, but dr. Lee did mine. Praying it all goes well. Cuz right now my eyes look exactly like what i didnt want it to look like. Praying it is just the swelling! Staying hopeful

yup! i downloaded this app called "Subway" - jihachul. The mapping is very easy to understand, so try to go for more adventures i took train to almost everywhere when i was in Korea.

also with regards to your qn about cleansing of face... I was able to wash my face (of cos not allowing water to touch my eyes). i used cotton pad to cleanse my forehead. and anywhere below my eyes i use my bare hands to wash them.

Hi all,

I had my 4-week post op appointment today at Grand! Just to let you know/remind you, I had two-jaw surgery with Dr. Kang as my surgeon.

My appointment was short and sweet. The nurse greeted me so happily since I haven't seen her in 2 weeks! I sat down in the 'dentist' chair and Dr. Kang took a look into my mouth. He cut off a stitch that, for some reason, didn't dissolve and answered all the questions I had. My nose changed a lot because of the two-jaw surgery and from the front, my nostrils look wider. The profile of my nose is so amazing though. I trust his opinion and asked if he thought my nose looks wide and he assured me that it looks good as if I got a nose job. If you plan on getting rhino and two-jaw surgery, DEFINITELY get the two-jaw surgery FIRST. Clearly you can tell how much I care about the way my nose looks lol. Definitely not used to it!

After, I was asked to take pictures and CT scan. I got to see my before and after pics side-by-side and got more explanation as to how my nose changed and where I still have swelling. Then I went for my deswelling treatment.

Next week, before I leave Seoul, I will get my certificate and all my pics and CT scans. I will definitely miss Dr. Kang and the nurses at Grand once I leave. It has seriously been quite the experience.

As a side note: my cousin took me to Before and After skin clinic because she used to go there. She warned me that the main dermatologist (?) is very very pushy for expensive procedures you don't necessarily need. During the consultation, I did not feel comfortable and in the end decided not to get anything done and just buy some Korean skin care products and cosmetics. I had my cousin there to translate for me so I'm not sure if they have English translators.

There's a Beverly Hill doctor that has created a new way of doing it and his look natural. Generally you have to find a good doctor bc it has the potential to turn out... Odd.

I'm fortunate to already have one and a half (lol) dimples naturally. I don't think having dimples is that great really, it's just holes afterall.

Thanks! I'm already feeling less pain today though the elephant feet is still there. ha!

If you do calf, you can still walk but very slowly and remember to get shoes two sizes bigger!
I paid about 6.5 mil. they have very clear price lists on each area. Just email them to ask.
