cocomomadness
Are you still in pain? Do you have feeling in your face? Would you be able to share some of your experiences with facial contouring?
ritchallthetime
If i'm being honest, i don't think so. The swelling for either of them wouldn't be reduced enough especially the v-line, that can take months to go away, not weeks. I know a lot of people are only there for a limited time so its really up to you whether or not you think the surgeon can pull it off. Otherwise you can just save for a nose revision if it does indeed not fit your new face as intended.
momo2013
Did u get ps done at BK? Sorry to hear that you are not happy with the result. What about your nose? Hope it improves with time.
seoulforreal
Just FYI: medical korea offers malpractice arbitration. It's basically a way to avoid expensive court and legal fees by both parties agreeing to to an investigation by this third party controlled by the Korean government. If the investigation rules in the patients favor then the doctor pays up. Please respect this resource, don't abuse it, and start making outlandish claims. Guest
hi cjchen! I read and remember you went to BK for your surgeries. No worries, I'm sure you will look better as time passes! But if you are reallly worried, why not drop the doc an email and ask instead of getting depressed over it? Stay positive!!
seoulforreal
It's way too early to even judge the final results. You just had a major surgical operation in which your jaw was re-sized and contoured, and your nose was operated on as well. Be patient, and think of it as a cocoon that will soon shed to reveal a butterfly - it takes time.
seoulforreal
Rhino can range between $7,000 to $20,000 USD in the states.

bella147
OMG!!! This is funny! I'm also going to korea late march/early april, but i'm gg for eyes & nose. i've kinda shortlisted migo, view, teiums & jw. thinking about regen and cinderella i also want to do touristy things - shopping (makeup - don't think their clothes will fit me...i'm like 5'10 with b00bs & a butt! lol), clubbing in gangnam and serious eating - luv korean food and i'm such a foodie lol. no one judge, but also want to hit the kpop stores - and (as GD would say) get my 'cray-on' !!!! sounds like u want a very natural look (i.e. no 'dolly' eyes for u) if so, i would consider Dream

angiebellex
Hello there With JW, is that Dr Choi? I read about him a few times on the forum. i am getting a bit confused with View and JW as there seem to be a few Dr Choi (s) around... But yes, am hoping the make full use of the time while im there...hence i hope i wont be stuck in the hotel for too long have you booked your flights yet? and where will you be flying from if you dont mind me asking? i'll be heading there from Melbourne..so i will be taking time off during easter. So far my dates are 29march-7 april..im hoping this will be long enough. is this your first time having the procedures? im a bit scared to be honest. partially excited but scared nonetheless! HAHA it would be great to meet up if we both are in town on those dates as a buddy would help heaps! yes, i think i'll go down the natural route.. dont want to look toooo different (i think!) however, zoe have advised to listen to what the doctors says. i have sent a few photos and whilst some have said to go for the double lids, some have also said the monolid suits me better. hence, im confused! im a fellow foodie too! heard that eating spicy food might not be a good idea..sigh... bella147
yeah i'm doing the same - travelling during easter break. since it's really a holiday for me (as i'll be gg to korea for consults only) i'll be flying in from Hong Kong - meeting up with friends for Rugby 7s then making my way over to korea so should be in korea from 26 march to about 6 april - not booked the korean flights nut hk flights booked btw: i'm from wa Dr choic at jw and either Dr lee sang woo OR/& Dr lee at view - these r the eyes specialists eating spicy foods apparently not that great for recovery...but i've never been one to do exactly what she's told - i mean there's limits. i'd give up the alochol, but good food??? plu-ease, couldn't do it even if i wanted to lol btw: forgot to mention in previous posts that our username is similar as well hahaha i'll PM u my email & ktalk id (do u hve ktalk???) cjchen
Hey cocomo There was never much pain. I have had feeling in my face from day 1, except for one spot on my chin and lower lip that is still numb. The doctor says this feeling will come back within a couple of months, as the nerves were shocked when the bone was cut. The worst part of the surgery is waking up from the GA. The second worst, is the long healing time. Don't expect to be gorgeous right after the surgery. Remember the cost of surgery is not only the dollar $$ tag, but also the 3-6 months of looking unsatisfactory as well.
cjchen
Thanks so much, yeah that's a really good idea. Getting the doctor's reassurance will be so good. Thanks again for all your support. It really makes me smile!
