Oh no, your husband is not suppose to know? Its indeed my pleasure. I wished I've known all this before I got butchered up!! So I'm happy to share with you guys.

For V line, your face cheeks wiill instantly swell once you eat salty food. But it can deswell pretty fast too. You should take sinnech. My friend had v line done and I was with her the whole recovery time. She looks awesome and her face was not super swollen or bloated after 2 weeks.

Rmb to time yourself at the clinics. They love to push or make you wait. Call them up a day before to ensure you have the slots.

Btw , where did you get your nose job ? Why revision?

It's walking distance (well at least for me and most Koreans) or you can hop in a cab or bus it's a straight drive with no turns. To get here you jump on Airport limo buss 6009 and it will drop you off right in front.

Hi Buttermilk,

I had two-jaw surgery so if you're interested in eyes, nose, vline, etc. I can't really help you.

I am at 10 weeks post-op and so happy with the results so far! A lot of the swelling has gone down and the frontal view of my nose is not as wide. I still can't get over my profile. It's amazing. My top jaw is still a bit numb, but I can feel it coming back slowly everyday!

My experience at Grand was really great! I loved the people who I interacted with! I can't speak for all of Grand (since there are 5 locations and tons of staff), but everyone I met was so nice! Especially the nurses who took care of me. They were so friendly and welcoming everytime I saw them. Even the consultant who I met initially came up to the recovery room after work to see how I was doing. My surgeon is a funny and caring person. Just thinking back at my experience makes me miss those people. They were all very accomodating to me.

Please read my previous posts on my surgery journey. Also, please do not choose Grand because of my experience but because you are comfortable with the surgeon who will be working on you.

here's my 2 cents

it feels like u think he's the man to do the job - seems like ur pretty confident ur gg to get the result u want.

money is an issue - u want to get married and have a great wedding.

i would bite the bullet and pay the man. if ur good with money, this shouldn't put u too far behind ur financial goals

He talks the talk, and felt like he knew he knew his stuff, but there is hardly any info about him, and his before and after photo library was tiny. Hard to really judge his work, so just wondering if he can walk the walk.

personally (& this is just my opinion mind u), i feel u should be able to get good results even if u did go to a 'factory' clinic. doesn't seem like ur the type of person to rush into things and get tempted by flashy ad campaigns.

if u do the research, trust ur gut and have ur head screwed on right, I don't think u can go too wrong.

btw: ur place is more ideally located for me. altho i have yet to confirm where/who i want to consult 2 out of my 4 r located kinda next door to u - changdum u, migo, cinderella, teiums

will pm u over the weekend

Seoul For Real

Have you seen the photos he did for people with an eye left? He made an eye for them that looked very real.

Actually I'm also very torn, but I think he's rather safe. I am terribly afraid of any hospital that leads to excessive bleeding and requires revision. For something like face, it feels scary and horrible to have repeated experiences. I think if you want extreme results, he definitely can produce it, maybe you can tell him exactly what you are looking for.

Having said that, are V line and small face the best ones? And safe ones?I want to go check them out too.

Well I have this theory.

Doctors like Han and Jung who only specialize on one area can become masters of their craft. It takes 10,000 hours to master something, and I'm sure they they have spent 10,000+ hours doing, talking and learning about their respective surgeries.

Now, doctors like the ones found in the bigger clinics who do multiple types plastic surgeries i.e. not specialist in one particular area, but do multiple regions (jaw, nose, eyes, breasts, lipo, etc...) have breadth, but maybe not a lot of depth. BUT these guys could have also developed mastery because of the volume of patients they see everyday. Meaning an average skilled doctor in Gangnam can quickly become a good doctor because of amount of surgeries coming his way. He iterates his way to success. They also have a better understanding of the overall face.

i agree it could be that its a common practice for him to measure everything out. just saw han's blog. it looks really subtle, which is a good thing especially for guys isnt it? he sounds really good and professional. but many doctors are good in talking rather than surgery. Make sure you see LOTS of BA pics done by him and you need to make sure his aesthetic sense lines up with yours. .ahh must be really hard to decide. he's soo expensive!

Man, flying there in 18 more days. Starting to get excited and nervous for it.
Hope my surgery will come out well.

Anyone did just tiplasty alone for their nose recently? Don't wanna get any implants for my nose after reading about some side effects of it online.
