Best Plastic Surgery Clinics in Korea -read 1st post before posting.

Recommended Posts

hi! no one on purse forum from my recollection has gone to belita but some people from the cheekbone reduction at cozycot have but i don't want to link it to you because we aren't allowed to promote other forums (please don't ban me!!!!). belita is really popular clinic among locals, some people who have visited them say they seem like a "small boutique clinic" compared to the bigger ones like id and regen, but they people lining up until outside the door. they have won a lot of awards.

with that being said, they are known to turn down foreigners as their local customers are enough for them. the doctors are said to be very personalised and stuff, i remember reading an account where someone printed a before and after specifically from their website and asked what surgeries she did to get this result and the doctor replied very honestly "i cannot give you this exact look because she has different face from you to begin with" and told her to focus more on her face becoming the best it can be instead of wanting to look like another person.

my friend who is korean and totally capable of speaking korean without looking like she is from somewhere else had vline and jaw redudction here (they are pretty popular from these procedures) despite being seen as a local she had to wait a week to get her surgery done. she looks really great now btw~ she has a very small jaw but it doesn't look unnatural or like an alien, she just looks like she has one of those cute small asian faces

i have emailed them personally like 10000 times but not once have they responded, i even tried emailing them in korean and nothing. however if you are still insistent on consulting with them since they are highly regarded in the industry, definitely bring a translator! (i heard they speak english very well but i wouldn't risk it)

this is their email: [email protected]

Consultation day three

I didn't expect to consult for three days but since this is my face we are talking about I didn't want to rush it either

I went to view yesterday but my translator had messed up and didn't tell them I wanted to see dr choi so I only got to see the consultant they quoted me
Eyes: incision and ptosis 3.5 (incision alone would be 2.5)
Epi 1.2
Dark circles- 2mil kwn

Nose open rhino will break bones , silicone, shave hump, cartilage and tip 5mil
Alar 2.5

I decided not to go to view a former went this morning and I could have joined her consultation but she said he was kinda "generic" not sure what she meant by that but he spent less than 8min with her and quoted her 8000$ for bridge and tip .... Ridiculous !! They quoted me a lot less for a lot more but since the other forumer didn't really like him I figured I shouldn't waste my time trying to catch a taxi from faceline to view just to see a doc for eight min. What I thought About my consult ... Consultant really knows her stuff they are into dramatic change... Eyes are dramatic in a pretty way ... Elongated with a defined fold .but they have a very deep set fold to it(ur crease is very obvious)..unlike jewelry(bulging eyeballs)

I found them quite expensive but I'm sure they could give me the look I want just not for the price I want and I wasn't willing to compromise by taking out any surgery or sell a kidney to pay for a surgery I can't afford

Last consult is faceline my host mom brought me here i liked the place it was alot more busy than every clinic except for jw that I been to, the patients were locals and I saw a lot of them in surgery gowns.. A girl whom I found very pretty already was waiting to go to surgery for her vline ! I managed to get eyes upper and lower rhino alar and tip for 6.8 ^__^ glad I decided to come here cause if I didn't find this place I would have went back to view compromised a few surgery ... Maybe visit daps or decide on chungdam u.

My overall thoughts... Do your research , give yourself more than enough time cause you never know what might happen, see a few more clinics just for the heck of it and don't pay more than you can afford! A penny saved is a penny earned! Surgery is Tom will let you know how it goes

Hey, thanks for the info mwol. I contacted DA clinic and they actually emailed me back today with a quote for V-line. I wonder if V-line includes the mandible and chin or just the chin because the quote was rather high if it is for only the chin.

Hi, I see you say a lot of good things about Belita so thought I would share some information. I visited Belita twice, one during Christmas time and the other in April. The reason I was so keen to have surgeries at Belita just because a forumer on Cozycot went to them and praised them a lot. However, I have to say that I was very disappointed about the clinic. It's a small clinic with nothing that makes you feel you would have a good treatment there. The doctors are very brief and not detailed and none of them speaks English. You will need to bring a translator if you want to visit them. Also, the clinic is always empty even during Christmas season when all other clinics are very busy and packed with patients. A forumer from Cozycot also mentioned that they stole pictures from another clinic to put on their website and that's the reason she canceled her surgeries there. Also, the horrible doctor, Dr.Song who messed up a lot of people's faces and ran away, used to work for Belita. Therfore, I don't think they are that good.

Thank you for telling us , most on my notes on belita are outdated anyways (beginning of the year). That's a shame to hear, especially since they win many awards and stuff. Ah yes I remember reading about Dr Song, he actually was a visiting doctor but went to open his own clinic (making beauty clinic?) He is suspiciously really cheap so I immediately crossed him out. I checked some korean cafes but they all still talk positively about belita (I am still reading it and no major red flags have appeared yet)

Anyways thank you for telling us ^_^

I have been receiving a lot of questions regarding where I stayed in Korea, before I got to Korea I was researching neighborhood and I thought gangnam was the ideal location cause that's the most famous etc etc... so I was looking into that area but it was over my budget.. When I joined the kakapo group for December kinkycookie whose also going around the same time as me suggested sinsa since she was staying around there I figured I might as well too so I will have some company and I am super happy I chose this neighborhood and this guest house I am located three blocks from sinsa station there's 24 hour pho down my block and Paris baguette, bank, pharmacy, 711 all within two block radius. Sinsa station is very convenient to allt he places I needed to go and a lot of clinics are five blocks away such as bk grand pitangui jewelry tengteng skin clinic dr young clinic etc etc I had made a list of places I passed by on the dec kakao chat group (too lazy to scroll through those messages)

My place is a small cozy one bedroom with a bathroom inside my bedroom kinda thing the kitchen is shared but it doesn't make. Diff to me cause I can't cook. There is a washing machine heated floor tv and wifi.. My host are great, they speak perfect English and ms Kim has went out of her way to try take care of each and everyone of her guest.. My next bedroom neighbor had some medical problems before her surgery and ms Kim spent two whole days bringing her to the hospital and getting ultrasounds n bloodwork done, she even went with me to two clinics translated and negotiated for me! She's like my host/mom in Korea after I decided on faceline she drove me to itaewon to get currency exchange I got a really good deal on my currency cause she knows the owner ^_^. Word of advice myeongdomg or itaewon for currency exchange!! never go to a bank cause you lose out on so much..and to me every penny counts! Ms.kim is such a nice lady goes out of her way to help everyone she can.

I think from this post alone you can figure out my guest house if u search on sites like agoda and bnb (not trying to promote) I hope everyone will have as good of an experience as I have at their guesthouse as I did. I would post their email here but I don't know if I'm allowed to so if you are really interested pm me

My translating experience thoughts are...maybe you should find a local, the prices I got quoted with a translator is ridiculously high... Not as bad as another forumer but it still was ridiculous. Yoon my translator was such a. Sweet girl she was friendly polite and escorted me to every clinic if only I didn't get charged a premium for having a translator I would have stuck with their service but I managed to get to faceline by myself host mom did translating and offered to drive me there for surgery so I really didn't need their service anymore. Not all clinics provide comps for translators since real had their own translator mine just sat there and listened to us talk but real is definitely not affordable imo, I think the perks of hiring Anita's translating group is the airport pickup and they bring you around to the clinics since Seoul subway can be tricky the con is that clinics charge you a premium and they really don't TRY hard to help you negotiate... I'm not asking for them to negotiate on their own but when I am asking the consultant to make it cheaper at least translate what I'm saying... -_-

Every clinic I went to on my own or with host mom charged me 2000-3000 less it's such a shame cause the clinics I hired them for were my number one choices, this was the same for another forumer and now we don't know if we can get it for cheaper after dropping the translating service so we are only left to chose another clinic

It's better if you book the place before you travel there as you might not know if last minute, you couldn't get a place, you doesn't want to risk that

I booked thru airbnb for my last month trip to Seoul. Stayed in Sinsa area too, convenient & confortable. I got a 2 person/room, costs me only around 30kwon/night. The house is clean & tidy, and my roommate is the most awesome girl. She helped me with my luggage bcos I was all bandaged up, and my luggage ain't light @.@

hi~ nice to meet you! you're english is fine and i can understand you  for nose it really depends what you want to do, different clinics go for different type of results... do you want more conservative/natural or a really dramatic change?

the clinics you mentioned aren't so good. bk and grand are the most sued in korea. shimmian is really a hit and a miss, dr jung is not very consistent (he is either really amazing or horrible). id is not very good either, they are known to swap surgeons while you're under GA, they are also excessively expensive. someone has died in wonjin.

lately i do really like item and regen's noses though  it's very natural but they have really beautiful noses but that's my opinion~ you need to know what exactly you want for your nose so it is easier to find the clinic you want

my 2 friends went to view (with dr lee sang woo) and girin for nose and eyes. if you (or anyone) wants to see the results i'll be happy to pm you  i don't want to post their pictures publicly hehe~
