Has anybody tried Pitangui?

He's the longest practicing plastic surgeon in korea, so I feel like he just nods along and tries to speed up the consultation like "yeah uh huh yeah I've heard it all before. Don't worry I've done this a million times" kind of attitude.

Also, the clinic is called Pitangui (a really strange name in korean) because Dr. Yoo studied under Dr. Pitanguy, a famous plastic surgeon in brazil. While South Korea is the world's capitol for face plastic surgery, Brazil is pretty much known as the world's capitol for body plastic surgery. I don't know if that makes Dr. Yoo good, but what I'm trying to say is that I would feel a LITTLE more confident about Dr. Yoo's abilities for things like boob jobs and liposuction. I would guess that unlike eyes and noses (which can be done 20 different ways, and requires you to listen carefully to what the patient wants) things like liposuction can only really be done one way.

So yeah mentally, I thought "okay (1) liposuction can only be done one way, (2) hes very experienced at it, and (3) trained to do it in a place where they're known for it... and (4) the price is the best I've received...".

I just wish I could find more reviews of people who got this procedure done. It's so rare. I don't know if anyone gets this done and says "wow! I love it! what a great choice!" or if they all come out like me thinking "Yeah this was kinda helpful, but not by much"

Hey there A person on here posted their review of TL Plastic Surgery's Power V and acculift procedure and her results were quite dramatic. They did a fantastic job at getting rid of her double chin and her jawline is so noticeable now. I believe she also had buccal fat removal so now her face is slimmer and more V-line.

Hi guys! I anyone recently go ps at pitangui? I saw lots of good review and also bad.

I am now having an email consultation and really like the way they reply ! Very pro and detail. They explain about the process and what they gonna do to my noose.

I also really like the method they use which is inner incision and even NO NEED STITCH REMOVAL!! omg I have done 2 PS before and for me stitch removal is the most painful.

How do you guys think?

Also the price is super reasonable even before negotiation.

i went 2017 to pintagui for a revision rhinoplasty consultation and I knew after about 5 minutes that I must leave asap.
1. of all they are all trained in brazil and try to imitate brazil. makes sense "pitangui" is brazilian.
2. If I go to Korea for rhino I want korean rhinoplasty art,technique,skills,expertise and NOT brazilian. nuff said
3. they dont really have a doctor that is specialised in rhinoplasty. They are good for breast augmentation though.

Specialization? I don't know if they have a single specialized field since they have a wide array of surgeries that their doctors can perform. I believe that most go there for their eyes, nose and breasts but I'm not too sure.

All I have to stick by is their track record because, in my theory, they wouldn't last for 25 years if they weren't doing anything right. So I guess that longevity is equivalent to experience.

That's right, ID is not a good choice ! I heard that your operation is made by the beginner staff, instead of the "talented" surgeons that you meet before the surgery...

But for anyone who has some questions about Pitangui and their work, I am french and I came to Korea for a surgery on February 17th. So if you want some answers about the staff, the procedures, etc, don't hesitate !

i was in August of this year in Korea and did few surgeries: double eyelid sx, nose and face lifting surgeries and all were done in one day at Pitangui hospital: now two months post-surgery and I am quite happy with results.

i was in August of this year2018 in Korea and got it done several surgeries: double eyelid sx, nose revision and face lifting surgeries and all were done at once at Pitangui hospital: now two months post-surgery and I would say I am quite happy with results.
Shortly about my whole plastic surgery experience in Korea: I did not take any surgery apt. days because I wanted to hear several Doctors' opinions regarding my whole face and what kind of surgeries they could and would suggest me to do. I was super nervous about the whole thing- I had only three weeks slot time off from my job and it was only time for the surgery and recovery time all together.
I went to 4 different hospitals before I crashed at Pitangui. it is including big oness like Grand, ID, View and VIP. Pitangui stuff was friendly and almost everyone speak fluently English. When Dr.Yoo came in the exam room and start examining my face- right away something in my mind clicked- this is my Dr. and only he can do beautiful art job on my face.
He was explaining his surgery plan and did some measurements on my nose which totally made me impressed. I liked that it wouldn't be stitch removal procedure after sx and stitches will be all invisible and inside.

After the surgery I could come to the clinic any day and have disswelling UV mask which was very helpful for my swelling go down.

Now I am back to US, got caught with very busy job schedule and recovering. People around me keep telling that I look younger and have beautiful fresh face. Guess my plastic surgery experience in Korea was one of succesful stories.
