greatnose Posted March 31, 2013 Author Posted March 31, 2013 Cant remember exactly as few yrs back I didnt pay so much in US doctor. But I am quite skeptical about Dr Thomas skill. As I saw a post recently, he was supposed to make that guy s nose shorter. But it turned out to be very droopy and unnatural. The guy looks 10 yrs older. He was very unhappy. He is cacasian btw.
greatnose Posted March 31, 2013 Author Posted March 31, 2013 I am from Asia. What do you think about Cochran spencer and toriumi?
bagsforme Posted April 6, 2013 Posted April 6, 2013 Dr Gunter in Dallas uses rib. I went to him years ago. Not sure if he's retired yet. He's well known and only does noses.
asianmodelboy Posted April 7, 2013 Posted April 7, 2013 do u remember where u saw this pic? im kind of on the fence with thomas as well
asianmodelboy Posted April 7, 2013 Posted April 7, 2013 i actually like the one asian nose job i saw from cochran im considering him. i also like that he does 3d imaging toriumi's work on asians ive seen have been great, but the negative reviews from white people still scare me if youre in asia why do you want to come to the US? what part of asia?
greatnose Posted April 14, 2013 Author Posted April 14, 2013 I actually emailed his office. But his office secretary told me that he does not perform sugery now. Most sugeries he will pass to Dr Cochran to do.
papertigers Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 Does it matter as much that I pick the *right* surgeon if I don't want to have an implant, just to have my bridge narrowed? Has anyone heard of Dr Kimberly Lee or Dr Anil Shah?
vinna Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 I heard about Dr. Peter Newen, tried to consult with him! He seem good.http://www.imageplasticsurgery.com/index.html
greatnose Posted April 15, 2013 Author Posted April 15, 2013 I feel US will have more experience in narrowing bridge thwn asia. Caucasion normally likes yo narrow bridge while asians like to augment.
mainer84 Posted April 19, 2013 Posted April 19, 2013 I considered going to Korea for rhinoplasty as well, but I changed my mind because 1) I'm Chinese, so I'm technically East Asian, but I have very thick and dark skin and 2) My features don't look anything like most Korean/Japanese people's -- I had a huge, wide, and ugly nose and a thick, almost-rubbery tip. When I looked at the "before" pics of the clinics in Korea, they were all of pale, thin-skinned with small noses women. So, weirdly enough, when I looked at American doctors, I looked for ones with experience in African-American rhinoplasty -- I wanted to see who could help someone with thick, dark skin and a wide nose. But honestly, I think one of the best reasons for getting a nose job in the United States is the follow-up care (and revision, if necessary). Unless you have the $$ to fly to another country repeatedly, it may be best to get a surgeon closer to home.
greatnose Posted April 20, 2013 Author Posted April 20, 2013 may i know which doctor do you have in mind
