k-couture Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 If u don't mind me asking, what is your height and weight? I can sort of guess whether u have enough fat with that bit of info. Also I RETAINED 50 percent after 10 months. And will continue to retain that much even if I hadn't done my fat graft top up 3 weeks ago. Because by this point whatever that remained is mine to keep. This is considered a high degree of retainment considering so many ppl complain of having not much left only a few months in and requiring a top up as early as 3 months. Not to mention I'm a smoker too. If I wasn't a smoker I would have retained possibly just over 60 percent because I began smoking again at the 3 month mark. During the weeks to come I noticed a sudden drop in the volume of my forehead augmentation
pie Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 I'm 5'2" and about 98 lbs right now (usually closer to 95 lbs).
k-couture Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 umm u might not have enough fat actually. Best to let the surgeon examine you tho. I mean if you can pinch flab at the abdomen area then it should be enough. But those measurements are a bit underweight
pie Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 Yes, I'm considered thin/ underweight by most standards. Even if I can't take fat from the abdomen, do you think I can take fat from elsewhere or can someone be too thin to do FG? I'm definitely not a lipo candidate for any body part. On the other hand, they don't need too much fat for the face, right?
pie Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 I'd hate to go all the way to Korea and be told that I can't do this.
blasian Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 Some clinics also offer forehead implants or bone grafts but me personally I would shy away from those.
wishingstar Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 For those of you who have had a forehead fat graft before: Does your forehead become squishy/soft to the touch? Or is it still firm/hard like a natural forehead? Also, have you experienced any dents or unpleasant side effects in your forehead fat graft before?
jillyjill Posted March 30, 2015 Posted March 30, 2015 Hi, just to share that I did full face FG w/PRP early this March and now almost all have disappeared, with at most 10% left. The ps clinic I went to is a rather reputable one, recommended by forummers and popular among the locals. I previously read in this forum that someone had the same experience as me too.
jellybellybeans Posted March 30, 2015 Posted March 30, 2015 Hi JILLyJill, May I know which clinic is that? Thanks! Do you mind sharing with me the name of the doctor as well? Thanks. PM me?
wishingstar Posted April 5, 2015 Posted April 5, 2015 Bummer about the drop in your forehead fat graft! I've been wanting to do this potentially, too, but I've been worried about whether it's worth the cost (since I've heard so many people say theirs disappeared completely after a year or two) Out of curiosity, did/does your forehead feel squishy when you touch it after the fat graft? Or does it still feel firm/hard like a non-fg-ed forehead?
cakemonster Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 Okay, so I'm going to Korea and have consultations with Banobagi, Regen, Item, and JW set. Regen quoted me 3.5 million won for full face. They said if I only want to do some areas, then it's 2 million. Hm, is that reasonable? I'll let you guys know what the other quote me. xx
jellybellybeans Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Hi Cake monster, which doc did Regen assign you?
xuka Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Hi guys, do you know whether it's possible to do full facial fat graft shortly after jaw surgery (extending the jaw) or do I have to wait for a few months?
cakemonster Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 They didn't assign me anyone but I have a consultation appointment set with them. I'm not entirely sure who to request because there is very little information about the surgeons on their website. Do you know who is the at grafting specialist there?
