pei-pei Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 I had overfill on my lip 18 months ago. The fat is not just stay on lip, and it also above my lip. I have ducky lip since the surgery. The fat is still a little bit absorb, but my lip can not go back as before. Anyone want to do fat grafting who must be careful.
snowcup Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 This is surprising. Was fat grafting not recommended initially and how do you know this is needed to resolve the issue? Triple fold can be caused by different issues. With ptosis, it may take more time to tell. There are several people who went to IOU on this thread. #
itsumobaby Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 Thank you for the warning peipei, hope that you can find a solution for correcting the overfill soon- did you ask other surgeons for opinions about what they can do about it?
pei-pei Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 I am still in my country, but I am planning to go to Seoul in this OCT. I had sent my photos to JW, and they said dissolve the fat above my lip but it may be not flat on my skin.
itsumobaby Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 Have you ever considered going back to soeul is not the best option? Did you do your fat grafting in Soeul ?
pei-pei Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 No, my lip was done in Beijing, and this is my first time to go to Seoul. I have to do my rhinoplasty revision this time, too.
pei-pei Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 Hello itsumobaby, I read you had bad experience at ID by Dr. Park, so I won't think about ID for sure. Be strong!
itsumobaby Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 Pei pei, you have to bear in mind that ID is not the only hospital that does these kind of s*** by inexperienced doctors so if you have to go back to soeul for revision/fixing a botched job you have to do loads loads and loads of research as well as referrals before making a final decision!
pei-pei Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 Hi Itsumobaby, thank you for reminder! Are you not satisfy your result or they make your face not balance? Do you need to do revision on it or you can except your result?
itsumobaby Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 You must be new on this forum- you can read my previous post to find out what ID hospital did to me. I am currently looking for a fat grafting specialist for my cheeks and a good eye doc or my eye revisional surgery
itsumobaby Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 To be exact the face is not balanced at all, over correction of everything which is much harder to correct than under correction
itsumobaby Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 May I ask whether you are under twillight or general anesthetic when dr park did the surgery for you? Plus did he mention how long will the fat grafting last on the cheeks?
pei-pei Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 I had done my first fat grafting about two and half years ago, but I can feeling my fat is still going down very slowly after two years.(my forehead, tem and chin). After two and half years, there are only 40%-50% still here.
sailormoon Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 anyone got any research or review on fat grafting for forehead by TEUIM? i only know Dr Kwon are good on doing eyes which i think i will choose him, but no confident on the fat grafting portion which i heard tragedy for some review here for other surgery.
sailormoon Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 Thanks for the reply, any recommended Pro surgeon good in fat grafting as u know of?
