cxflygirl Posted May 15, 2013 Posted May 15, 2013 Need some advise or personal recommendations on these two clinic I am planning to get lipo in June both seem to be responsive but not sure who to choose so would love to hear back and see if anyone has used these clinic before
trishsul Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 cxflygirl, I got my arm lipo at 365mc. The clinic is great, doctor was good, but beware on getting the wrong consultant though! I will share my experience later on in a new thread... You can check out The Line too, my translator said they're recommended for fat graft and liposuction.
cxflygirl Posted June 9, 2013 Author Posted June 9, 2013 I am booked mid June, who was your consultant? And how is your Lipo recovery? Bruising? I am getting lower/ upper ab and flank but was considering arm. Thanks for sharing
trishsul Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 I wish you the best of luck! My consultant was an unexperienced woman named song kyung A, I've wrote down my experience in my notes and will make a new thread later on after my account is able to. Avoid her if possible.. If not because of my strong will, I think she has pushed me away from the clinic already... My arms are still bruising, but most of the pain are gone. There is some irregularities in my right hand (as if there's no blood flow to my fingers all the time), but I supposed it's normal? I'm a bit paranoid due to my experience with this consultant, I lost lots of blood when she took my blood sample on my right arm (a day before the surgery). I don't know if there's any connection with that since my left arm is doing fine, no weird feeling at all. Only my right arm.
cxflygirl Posted June 13, 2013 Author Posted June 13, 2013 Trishul, I am booked next week at 365mc any advice? They told me its lipo laser did u experience drainage from the incision ??? Doing ab and flanks. Did you doctor speak any English? Also after u come out of the op how did u feel?
89angie Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 Hi Trishsul, I am new here in purseblog. I also plan to have lipo in 365mc. I see from other thread that 365mc was good and specialize in lipo. I am think to have calf reduction too,did you have any recommend clinic?? where you find translator in korea?? thank you
trishsul Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 Hi cxflygirl, I am not sure about their lipo-laser, I only did the normal lipo with full sedation.. I don't think I experienced any drainage from the incision, though. My doc didn't speak english but they do have a translator who speaks english (sometimes they just find someone from other department who can speak english to translate for you). Right after the operation I feel fine, a bit dizzy but no pain whatsoever. 2nd and 3rd day post-op was also bearable, the pain was as if you were doing a rock-climb then you feel sore all over your body the next day - kind of pain. But now, around 10 days post surgery the bruises is spreading towards my lower arm, and it feels like my lower arm was beaten (pain+blue/black bruise). Doctor said bruises will be gone after 2 weeks but I think for me it'll be much longer than that. I guess everybody's different. Anyway, good luck on your consultation and surgery. Hope everything turns out A-okay!!
trishsul Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 89Angie, I only went to 365mc and The Line for consultation.. I think 365mc is the best on lipo, but I suggest you to ask other clinic and choose the most suitable clinic for you because every person's experience is different. As for me, I was leaning towards The Line at first bcause they're very professional and advanced, but the consultant did not recommend me doing my arm lipo due to my very small fat, that's why I went to 365mc. Even though I had a bad experience with the consultant at 365mc, but the doctors and nurses are very nice. I didn't regret doing my lipo at 365mc, just hoping for the best result now If you want to find a translator in Korea, you can search in another thread on this forum, "Best Plastic Surgery...", you'll find their emails. Good luck!
cxflygirl Posted June 16, 2013 Author Posted June 16, 2013 Thanks I think it's the same treatment as she mention sedation during the process.
89angie Posted June 17, 2013 Posted June 17, 2013 Hi Trishsul, Thank for recommend. I will try to ask The Line. I got see another clinic which is MEDIART but i cant reach them because i dont know korean =_=
cxflygirl Posted June 17, 2013 Author Posted June 17, 2013 In case anyone if thinking of lipo in Seoul here is an account of my journey. DAY 1. Arrive in to Seoul and straight to 365mc in Gangnam. The hospital takes up a whole building, its clean, modern and assuring to know that it only focuses on weight loss management and liposuction. I met with the translator who is just lovely. Had my body analysis done where you stand on this machine to caculate body mass index % of fat , muscle extra. I then met a consultant who answered all my question relating to the surgery, pre, post and after care. Very thorough. I then met my surgeon who use ultrasound to measure the thickness of the fat in my ab and flank area. This was then followed by a 3D scan which was just amazing to see where the concentration of fat was. Blood test and then measure for my post garment suit. The usually recommend one garment but I order two one post and one slightly smaller for when the area shrinks. The doctor advise that I will have 3 incision in the hip and belly button. I was concern about drainage but he said that most would have gone after the operation. Surgery is scheduled tomorrow so will see how it goes.
trishsul Posted June 17, 2013 Posted June 17, 2013 Good luck cxflygirl! Please update us with your surgery! Best of luck to you!!
cxflygirl Posted June 18, 2013 Author Posted June 18, 2013 Day 2. I arrived at the clinic at 2:30 had my blond pressure taken and an injection which was helped to relax. Honestly having had 2 c-section i has not too nervous. I then met the doctor. Showed me the photos of my abdomen and explain what exactly was to be done. a total of 4 incisions. One from the bellow two from hip and tailbone. Very thorough in explaining the procedure. I was marked out on the area and ushered to the surgery room where i was drench in an antiseptic lotion. After that I had an IV and i was out. The whole process took 2.5 hours . Surgery started at 3:35pm. I was back in my recovery room and awake by 7 pm. By that time I had my corset how they got that on I had no idea. Doctor came to check up on me and I was given congee and fruit juice. I left the clinic walked to the pharmacy and headed on the train back to my hotel. As to how I am feeling. I feel like I have just done 1000 sit ups sight tenderness but doctor expects bruising from Ab to the knees in about a week. Have to say it was a smooth process. No drainage at all and I will ba back to change my dressing and in the 19th and 21st. Will see how I feel after I wake up in the morning. Doctor was brilliant and my translator Grace a total gem. She was with me from Day on until the ushered me to the surgery room.
