SeoulTouchup packages -- are they worth it?

Unless you speaking about literally small unpopular clinics with unknown results, but that is not the clinic I would get for something permanent on my face

no... i speak of popular clinics... i have received many many quotes... most clinics charge 7-9M for v-line and if you get other surgeries you get combined discount... clinics are not unpopular because they don't speak english... english speaking clinics often have not so many korean patients... so are they popular or only popular for foreigners? i would not want something permanent on my face from a clinic that overcharges you just because you're American and willing to pay anything... not according to everyone, please read the forums more... i'm sorry you paid too much... ^^

Hi Greenderss,

One of the recently raved about dental clinic EverM offers 10M for cheek bone & v-line. They are the jaw specialist.

Of course the 25M you paid could be valid because the clinic charged your procedure individually/separately.

What Shiny was referring to was find out more about the price of the procedure in the main threads - many members contributed the price to help other members to prevent rip off as most of us are foreigners. This is the beauty of the forum, we are here to help each others.

yes and many other clinics charge 12M for zygoma+v-line... without a discount! individual prices = 7M for v-line + 5M for zygoma = 12M for both... without a discount. but many clinics give 20% combined discount, some more some less... better ask ^^ not all clinics give combined discount. please ask the clinic and you will find out ^^

i don't think you paid a lot lot too much, like I said without facelift 15M is a normal price so facelift can be 5-6M so 20-21M is a normal price and some clinics are more expensive so 25M is maybe not too much after all ^^ it depends on the clinic! but please do not speak like I am a liar when I talk about prices I know to be real prices... I am not joking... just trying to help.

I researched all the prices prior to coming to Korea and even on these forums many people post their quotes for v-line alone in 9-10 mil price range. I knew already that Korea charges local Koreans or people that can speak Korean less as I saw people getting different quotes depending on what language they inquire in, but I am not Korean, nor do I speak Korean. I am american and I get quoted prices just like other Americans do.

Greenderss,

Yes! U hv confirmed my findings that some clinics do charge higher for foreigner who doesn't communicate in Korean

With the multiple procedure, we can ask for discount. I think the min. discount we should ask is 20%

There is buffer for them to give us discount

You should also realize that I did my surgery in August, I visited this forum a lot for research and the current prices and clinic info compilation threads did not exist back in August all you could get your info from was this big thread
# If these price&info compilation threads existed in August, I would have chosen a cheaper clinic like EverM or Girin. I could not make a better decision with what info I had back in August most of these compilations came from Korean forums I didn't know existed.

The more I read, the more I am inclined towards an agency like the Seoultouch up as I think if it is an organization , maybe the doc will do a better job?

just keep in mind those agencies work for money, not for the benefit of people... can you imagine what business it is to move thousands of people paying thousands of dollars across continents for PS... never forget, they are not a medical organization, but marketing... (that doesn't mean they cannot help you, and it is good business to make sure their customers are in good hands, but it is still important to understand that...)

Why spend extra few hundreds to thousands dollars on such agency or translator? When this money can use to pay for extra procedure? Or maybe something that you always wanted to buy?

Initially I want to use translator because this is my first trip to Korea n i dont know Korean. I only know 'Oppa' (brother) in Korean drama....

I read that translators earn commission and indirectly it is paid by me. I'm ok that they earn a decent comm but not when the price that the clinic that the translator recommended quoted me double of what other clinics which I had wrote in personally... (a hint: recent raved about new PS clinic in main thread)

Then it dawn on me that few members had been trying to warn us about engaging translator or agency and in the end we will hv to pay 'silly' price for PS.

Of course, if u hv lots n loads of money to spend unwisely. Please by all means engage anyone u like.

But don't try to promote them in the forum as though it is A MUST to go to Korea for PS HAVE to engage the help of a translator/agency.

Many members are like me took long time to save for PS and is first time going to Korea, is truly scare about the language barrier and being alone in a foreign country.

As I already narrowed down to the clinics that I want to go for consultation (members told me that there will be in house consultation who can speak English n Mandarin), I thought what the heck just book a ticket & hotel online, fly to Korea then if I need help, the reception at the hotel should be able to offer some help...

If not, so be it lah....

During consultation, i will use my finger, photo (i'm bringing my laptop n ipad along) and drawing if the doctor/consultant doesn't understand English/Mandarin

When I know I'm leaving for Korea soon, I posted in the forum to seek for travel buddy bcoz I opt for major full face procedure- cheek bone, v-line, nose, eyes, etc. If I can find travel buddy it will be a bonus.

And praise be the Lord. Few members contacted me and now we are traveling together...

I can feel that my travel buddies are sincere people bcoz we hv the same goal, to undergo PS in Korea n return back home beautiful.

The purpose of forum is to share info n take care of each other too.

So let go n let God helps you in your PS journey...

I am going for multiple procedure... I would want to spend my money wisely

But if u are happy to engage anyone please by all means as long as it makes you happy.....

double?? haha wow... and someone willing to pay that too... white Americans with their credit cards, don't care how much they waste... but it is okay, they use different clinics where the prices stay high... so good for everyone... Let's just hope they don't start paying double prices to normal clinics! then the prices might rise...

I'm glad you found someone to go with, hope you're happy and safe ^^ I agree with what you write... it is not wise to waste your money, think "if I pay 100,000 dollars I get 10 times better results than if I pay 10,000 dollars"... that is what some people seem to think...
