lindaalicious Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 I'm thinking about doing the nose fillers to add more for my bridge? Has anyone had them done and did you like them? I heard you can also build up fillers over time and it could even last forever. Please tell me about your experiences.
xiongs Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 How long does it last? There are some videos on people getting fillers on youtube. And the longer you want it to last the more it cost. Not sure how long they last though.
laurpa Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 Most of the nose filler procedures I've seen (in the USA) seem very reasonably priced for the amount of time they last. Fillers in general are a really nice way to try out a new nose shape without committing up-front to surgery. Though fillers may occasionally last years, this is from what I've heard very rare.
abetterme Posted December 9, 2015 Posted December 9, 2015 A Korean doctor I met recommend an alternative for nose job. Using short PDO threads for lift and tightening, with Filler for shape. The method seems legit and I am considering it. He told me he's teaching a training course in Bangkok and Melbourne next year and I can come by to get free treatments if I am there.
chubbiebunnie Posted April 5, 2016 Posted April 5, 2016 I'm curious too! Especially what kind of fillers were used.
starofall Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 Am Also interested to get filler done in Korea. Anyone have inform on this? I have had one once in my country but it last me barely 4months? The brand I used was Juverdam or something. Also interested in botox for jaw...if anyone have any inform it will be much appreciated!!!
jbr12 Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 I've seen it - there was an article here: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-3332184/Would-non-surgical-nose-job.html It looks really good, although for me, my nose is the least of my problems.
magdalenabeauty Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 I've had it done twice. It made my snub nose straight and I was very satisfied with the results. However the results didn't last long- about half a year each time. I don't remember what type (density) of hyaluronic acid my doctor used. I know that using fillers may be an alternative for nose job only in some patients, because some problems with shape of the nose can't be solved with fillers.
queenofblades Posted May 24, 2016 Posted May 24, 2016 I did it twice in Singapore. The first time, I went to a renowned (and expensive) plastic surgeon for tear trough fillers, and he suddenly decided he would add a touch of filler to my flat nose bridge, columellar and nose tip as well. I liked the result very much, but it only lasted 6 months. I believed he used Juvederm. After that, I went to a different surgeon who was more sanely price. He was generous with tthe filler along the bridge and nose tip. However, because one of my problems was a bulbous nose, after the injection, I felt it made my nose even more bulbous. I think it was not a good look for me. So I think, the aesthetic sense, as well as experience of the doctor matters a lot when it comes to doing nose fillers. More does not mean better. Also, I think it does not help with all nose issues. It may help build up a flat nose bridge, but it does not make a bulbous nose less so, or help to correct an upturned nose, which were issues I also had. In the end, I went for a rhinoplasty to achieve the result I wanted.
cherishbaby Posted May 24, 2016 Posted May 24, 2016 QueenOfBlades I appreciate your information. My friend is living in Singapore. May I ask you which clinic and doctors name in Singapore? Maybe your second clinic I would not recommend to her because it's expensive and sounds like you are not satisfied with the result.
queenofblades Posted May 25, 2016 Posted May 25, 2016 Dear cherishbaby, The second clinic is actually the reasonably priced one. It's the first clinic that is exorbitant. I think if your friend has a bulbous nose like me, then maybe you can tell the doctor not to put so much filler on the tip. Also, can consider adding a teeny bit to columellar, but let me tell you, that part of the nose freakin hurts when you inject it. Send me a private message, and I will tell you which clinics i went to
michele_818 Posted May 27, 2016 Posted May 27, 2016 There are fillers available to replace surgical nose job. But you should consult with your doctor before making any decisions.
magdalenabeauty Posted May 27, 2016 Posted May 27, 2016 Are they made of silicone? If no, do you know any details? Or source where I can find more information?
macie-x Posted July 28, 2016 Posted July 28, 2016 This sounds interesting, what does it actually involve and what's the upkeep?
