Hey Lindaalicious,
I've actually been getting nose fillers for a couple of years now and I would definitely recommend it if a) you want a natural look compared to getting an actual rhinoplasty, b) you want to see how it looks before getting a rhinoplasty, c) you do not want to dish out the money for a rhinoplasty.

I've had experience with radiesse, restylane, volumna, and a couple of other ones that I can't remember off the top of my head. Depending on which filler you go with, will determine how long the results will last. I know Restylane is supposed to last for about 6 months, but I already saw it decreasing after 5 months for me. Radiesse was said to last around 9-12 months, but I started noticing the decrease after around 8 &1/2 months, so i decided to go in and get some more.

Like one of the earlier posts, if you simply want a higher nose bridge, the fillers would work perfectly. If you dislike the fact that your nose is big, or wide, the nonsurgical nose job will not help, and may even make it look larger if the nurse/doctor injects certain ways.

If you have any other questions, feel free to ask me (I love answering questions on the forum haha!) Hope this helps!

I made an appointment with a doctor in Toronto at the end of November to get a non-surgical nose job.. The only issue I have with my nose is the bump/hump on it and I want it straightened out and MAYBE lift the tip. I believe this doctor uses Voluma which can last up to a year so we'll see what happens. I'll post before and after pics.

Just providing an update. I went into for my filers yesterday and I LOVE the effect. My nose is fairly straight except for a bump, which causes my nose to look bigger. She filled in the area above the bump to make my nose look completely straight and it's exactly what I wanted. She used Teosyal filler which lasts a year so next year I'm going to look towards permanent filler because this is the exact nose I wanted without surgery for a total revision.

Hope this helps!

Before and After.jpg

So I wanted to post a before (right) and after (left) pic.

I had this done by a plastic surgeon back in the beginning of December. They used Teosyal. I was happy at first and then I noticed two weeks in after the swelling had gone down the crookedness was back and it was really bothering me - it was slight, but it was still there. The clinic was basically unwilling to help - Also, I had bought a full syringe of filler but they used half or less than half.

Anyway, on Wednesday I got in touch with a different clinic and I made an appointment. That doctor told me that they used the wrong type of filler for my nose (it was too soft). He used Stylage XXL and I absolutely love the results. The filler seems a lot more harder (like less squishy), he spent a lot more time moulding it into place to make my nose look so much more smaller and streamlined. I have to go back in two weeks to see him again in case I need a little bit of a top up after the swelling subsides but so far I'm happy. This should last about 12 months... If I had to go under the knife, this is exactly the nose I'd want.

I had PDO nose threads (without filler) put in this year. The results were very subtle and natural after the swelling went down, even my family could not tell I had nose threads done. However, it's too subtle for my liking. The bridge height dropped A LOT within 2 weeks, but my tip looked slightly pointier. For the $1500++ I paid(I'm in Singapore), I didn't feel it was worth it. But if you're like me and vehemently putting implants or fillers in to your nose, then the PDO nose thread is worth a try. I wouldn't do it again though, mainly because the cost didn't justify the change or how long it'd lasted.
