Ha, ha, yes well I'm actually content with my appearance and think that I'm pretty attractive. So that's why I want to get a subtle change because I'm worried that if it's too dramatic, I'll have regrets. I really just dislike my big nostrils and only want a slight tweak of the nose :P

Hi there, you sound very much like me! I am also eurasian with wider nostril but I also dont want drastic changes or any work on the bridge..I am considering going to Philippines for the rhinoplasty due to having relatives/family over there..Have you had the surgery done and if so any tips, feedback on surgeons or pics  Thank you

this a great thread - i'm also considering philippines as I personally don't think KR is the greatest when it comes to rhino...heard too many bad stories and not that many good stories

not heard of belo or icon so will check these out

Celebrity clinics:
Faces and Curves (google Kim Chiu before and after, she's a celebrity who got her nose done here)
Belo Medical Group (pretty pricey and kinda overrated...also the rhinoplasty surgeon won't be Vicky Belo bec. she's a dermatologist)
Shimmian (I would avoid Shimmian because they use goretex and the doctor 'trained' under Dr. Jung and he has quite a bad rep)
Beverly Hills 6750 - dunno much about them but they're quite posh

I know two doctors in the PH who specializes on ear cartilage, one operates on a famous private hospital (I've e-mailed him before and he IS nice, he didn't wanna operate on me because I was mentally and emotionally unprepared due to a previous operation by another doctor that was unsatisfying) and the other one has her own clinic (she's also nice and motherly according to my friend).

A nose job in the PH ranges from 70,000- 200,000 pesos.

THANKS milkychoco :supacool:

I'll take a look...also been thinking of thailand

if the docs can make a guy into a (very pretty) girl, then they must have some skills! LOL :P

that seems to be the general consensus but there are lots of horror stories about Thailand too since it's become too popular, they say it's like a factory there, I'm not discrediting Thailand though...

I'm eyeing Korea even though it's also well known for surgeriesbut I guess most clinics there have better facilities and equipments since they are a more developed country.

Singaporean blogger Qiu-Qiu had surgery at Thailand and her nostrils came uneven so she had it revised in Korea (Regen clinic) and it turned out well.

I didn't pick Belo or other celebrity clinic since one of my friend suggested Aesthetic Institute of the Philippines instead. Her result was superb so I already scheduled an appointment with the surgeon.

Can anyone provide links/suggestions for rhinoplasty surgeons in Seoul that are accustomed to preforming surgery on a western style face/nose? I have lived in Japan for the last couple of year and will be here at least two more years and would like to get this taken care of before returning stateside.

Thanks for all helpful information....

I had my nose done in Shimmian Manila and I am very much happy and satisfied. Shimmian Manila is the pioneer in Goretex. The doctors are very well trained. I plan to go back there in December for my Mandibular Contouring.

I have NO PROBLEM with Shimmian Manila at all. I love my new look.

Oh one thing more, aside from Dr. Levi Lansangan, the best head surgeon of Shimmian Manila, Dr. John Michael Porquez is also one of the surgeons of Shimmian Manila. He is the one who constructed the face of the singer-actor Lance Raymundo.

I must say that I was really in good hand at that time!
