Hi everyone.

I am planning to go to seoul in march and will have many consultations before the surgery. Tlps included.
I am sorry to hear about shan shan expérience and it really doesnt look good. But then on thé other hand, I heard good results from my korean friends but they Hardly want to share pictures on forums like this. Based on that, I will still visit their clinic and have my own opinion. There are too many promoters here on this website and even I am confused with so many things written with no pictures attached except for shanshan Will keep you posted in March and cant wait to meet the other girls from this forum and see which clinic each one of us is going to pick and trust for thé surgery

Hey guys,

Wow I'm really sorry to hear you didn't have a good result shanshan!

Actually makes me a little nervous because I am going to TL for V Line and FG this year:s

I visited the clinic in person a few months ago with someone who had V lifting procedure done and that turned out really well - basically no swelling and you could see the results within a week. Both of the English translators (Regina and Melissa) were super nice. Gave heaps of pumpkin juice to de-swell coz we couldn't find anywhere to buy it (checked multiple pharmacies and supermarkets around Seoul).

Anyone else going around May / June?

Actually should mention Fwiw i went to Grand also while I was there to do aegyosal filler and lips. I definitely would not go back there! That place was a total PS factory.. I was there for nearly 4 hours (just to do filler!!) and in that time, they kept moving me from room to room waiting to see dr. In the end I think I visited like 4 different floors in their blg. And also - the dr that consult with me was different to the dr who ended up doing my fillers! In the space of an hour already had to go with different dr! I was pretty annoyed bout that as the dr who ended up doing the filler came in while I was lying down and had already had numbing cream on me - so he didn't even get to see my face properly. The aegyosal filler was swollen for a whole month and badly lumpy for 2 full weeks. They told me lumpy several days only... Luckily I was on holidays otherwise really in trouble one

oh dear im so sorry to hear that. For non surgical procedures like fillers and stuff u can try oracle. They are pretty cheap too. I went to the one near sinsa dong for my laser hair removal. They even have a board with their staff pictures on it and stickers the customers use to give the staff a star after they make payment. Naturally I picked the specialist with the most stars lol.

Ohhh Oracle website looks good! That was the other thing - Grand was a complete rip off. I paid as much for the fillers as my friend did for the Power V Lifting at TL! And worse - they didn't even use all the filler ( told me I could come back for a top up within 6 months... Completely useless if live OS

I see Oracle does fat graft too...wonder if they are any good? Did you make an appointment or just walk in?

I wouldn't go to Oracle for fat graft. They are a skin specialist clinic so I would not attempt surgery there. Even tho fat graft is not a specialist procedure, the administering technique affects the longevity of the graft. Also you will want to check what their top up policy is. This should apply to all clinics.

i thinkkkk i was a walk in? LOL not sure cos my friend might have called and made an appointment for me. I just remember I was at Dream's dermatology department and they didn't have laser machines, just IPL for hair removal. And cos i've had like over 10 laser hair treatments (hairy betch much?) it was just a touch up and IPL apparently only does huge patches and is more expensive and not as good as laser for hair removal. So i ended up at Oracle after. Either way they are fairly cheap. My laser hair cost me for both full legs 90 dollars if I recall correctly. I posted my price in one of the skin threads a few months back

Good to know:smile: $90 is seriously cheap for both legs!! I've been wanting to do IPL for years but always a bit put off by the cost.. Plus lazy / cheap just keep shave lol

The clinics don't have "experience", it's the doctor that matters. The fc doctors in TLPS are experienced, just make sure you both have the same aesthetics.

I would like to do face contouring with Dr Lee and eyes and BA.
Would like to go to the best rhinoplasty revision specialist too.
So between TLPS with dr choi and dr kim, or Dr Lee from Da, who would you go to do all these surgeries?
I know nothing about TLPS yet and the drs there. Are they experienced and skilled like Dr lee?
Can i address this message to real people like me who are seeking for facts and not promoters please?

I think TLPS itself is fairly new but the doctors performing surgery is not. They used to belong to "The Line Plastic Surgery" but then they split away. TL PS focus more on facial contouring and The Line focus on other surgeries (from what I have read).

I guess so? I seriously would not go back there after my experience with filler, esp for any big surgery. I just too scared they don't even know who they operating on.. Plus the cost for me was just ridiculous. Nearly $2k just for filler!

I think Shimmian (Dr Jung) supposed to be best for nose?
I don't know if TL is good for nose. The pictures in their clinic mainly facial contouring, fat graft, v lift and BA.

I found this on their site - REAL TIME MONITORING CAMERAS IN OP ROOM while the patient is in surgery via your iPad or Smart Phone - so your family can be reassured that you are safe. I presume that would also mean no swapping of docs!

Shan Shan, I hope your revision/recovery turned out good. Thanks for sharing your experience. I was thinking about consulting with them b/c I have time to seek additional variety of opinions... but after reading how subpar their customer service and after care service was, I'm crossing TL out from my shortlist.
