shinyglittery
http://blog.naver.com/PostView.nhn?blogId=kiaps1&logNo=70089708757&redirect=Dlog&widgetTypeCall=true interesting post... as far as i know that doctor is a very good doctor but he also does some things the western media finds controversial (i read an article) but I've only seen good results from him i though you might find it interesting, made me think if i really need/want lateral cantho after all~ i don't know. what do you think? of course he performs lateral reconstruction so maybe that's why he wrote this post but i wanted to know what you think? ^^
flytoseoul
I agree because if you look at many Korean stars who seemed to have major surgery on eyes, their eyes don't seem as bright.... If you understand what I mean. And a bit too round at the end lacks individuality
shinyglittery
But then what procedure can make your eyes bigger? Cosmetic surgery is not about what you need, it's about what you want... If you want to fix something go to a normal doctor, if you want perfection go to a plastic surgeron. Right? ^^ so saying that you don't "need" something that can make you prettier is just saying "you should be ordinary, don't try to be prettier than others, go away" isn't it? but if the procedure doesn't look good on ANYONE then maybe you can say that but if there was something that looks good on no one then people wouldn't be doing it, right? So I don't understand what you mean by "you don't need it"
shinyglittery
Thank you for your reply, but about the "lacks individuality" if you can be either individual or pretty then doesn't individual = ugly? But I wouldn't want my eye corners too round though. I just want them pretty like everyone else~ Individual in PS = the surgeon should invent a new look for every patient? Then the surgeon would not have experience doing a surgery 1000 times, he would have experience doing 1000 different surgeries only once so he would be really bad surgeon... Tell me if you disagree and why please ^^
squat
You can get your eyes bigger from epicanthoplasty. It's best if your eyes are far apart and you want that elongated effect. Because simply having double eyelid does not mean you will have big eyes, you need long eyes to have big eyes if you know what im saying. Lateral cantho doesn't really have a huge effect if at all. Would choose epicantho over it. Both are still super new/recent so.....don't know what negative health effects would happen when you're old lady and everything is falling apart. Like maybe your eyeballs protrude out much lol or tear ducts malfunction w/e. Interesting article, I think it's on point.
shinyglittery
hi, thanks for your reply. can you answer my question here? thanks ^^
k-couture
thanks for posting this. I was told the same thing during my consultations in Seoul. bit worrisome as I believe the first thing you focus on when having a conversation with someone are the eyes. squat
That's funny because I feel like the first thing people focus on when having a conversation with someone is the nose. Lol I guess it's all in our head we imagine people look at our most self conscious/inscure body part when others probably don't think anything bad of it. k-couture
haha i guess for me i say its the eyes because it would be rude not to have eye contact when talking to someone lol. but so true what you say! I always think people will notice my most insecure feature but then i realized that most people will not tend to analyse us the way we do ourselves
shinyglittery
i thought about that too... but he's not the only one saying its bad...
k-couture
well whenever these surgeons post something like that its most often for profit lol. But if your eyes are botched the way they are in those pictures, i personally would get it fixed right away
