incognito81
Hi guys, I will be going to Korea this Saturday and would like to have a thread where we post what we need to bring and buy that will help with the surgery. Any supplements to bring to help heal faster swollen areas of the face? I am thinking of buying protein powder while I am unable to eat solid food (after getting sliding genioplasty). I don't want to lose muscle mass. I might buy easy to make porridge as well. Anything else for groceries once I am in Seoul? Other things? My tablet to keep me entertained and connected to the internet. Please post on what you brought with you (or planning to bring with you) in this thread so us PS virgins will have an almost-hassle-free trip. Thanks! makemeup
Great thread OP. Good luck with your surgery. When my time comes I hope I remember to bring some antibacterial wipes. For door knobs light switches and such. Also I'll be drinking lots of black tea (I don't normally) as I was reading it boosts the immune system. mina2013
Here is the list of thing I will bring with me to Seoul: 1. Sineech - reduce bruising and swelling. 2. Bromelain - reduce swelling 3. Vitamin K cream - reduce bruising 4. Kelo-Cote Scar healing & reduction gel 5. Pain reliever medication 6. Protein powder Note: Eat a lot of pineapple or drink pineapple juice. Pumpkin juice is very helpful as well. Avoid spicy and high sodium food. Drink water as much as possible.

incognito81
Thanks Mina! I am going shopping tonight after work to buy most of the products you've mentioned. I'll wait until I'm in Korea to buy the protein powder as that will make my luggage heavy. Kgrace, I am planning on getting double eyelid surgery with epicanthoplasty, rhinoplasty (tip plasty and alar reduction), paranasal augmentation, and sliding genioplasty (or maybe chin implant, but would rather have the sliding). incognito81
No idea yet. I have face-to-face consultations with JW, Pitangui, Life, and Jewelry. Guys, is there a SIM card that I can use so I can use my cell phone for calls, text, and internet? Something that is cheap and can be used on my unlocked phone? qri
i think you would be okay if you leave your phone in airplane mode and then connect to wi-fi? there's literally wi-fi everywhere in seoul so you would easily be able to contact people via kakao talk/LINE/whatsapp/skype etc. only downside is that you can't text or make calls...but it would definitely save money. if you really wanna make calls and text then there's the option of renting a phone. trishsul
Hi guys, do you know where to buy sineech??
incognito81
For Sineech, you buy any other brand that has Arnica Montana as its active ingredient. That's basically what Sineech is. I got a different brand at my local Holland&Barrett drugstore in London.
