Around my eyes I get little touch ups every 6-8 weeks, but that's only about $150 for the touch ups. Between my eyebrows wears off in 3-4 months. My forehead only has to be redone twice a year. Doctors say that if you get Botox consistently for 2 years without letting it wear off you retrain your muscles and you'll only need it once or twice a year after that to maintain the results. I was just saying the Botox helps the fillers last longer because using your facial muscles breaks them down faster. For example, I have Radiesse in my cheeks, under the muscle & it's supposed to last 2 years before I need a touch up, but I have Perlane in my lips and it has to be redone every 2 - 3 months because I use my mouth constantly. The result was so incredibly subtle, I could not tell a difference. Though I must add, I do believe it probably had 90% to do with the nurse who injected me with the Restylane (she didn't seem to know what she was doing). I think I will give it another go, but this time have it done by a plastic surgeon who would have a better understanding of under eye hollowness and is likely to also boast superior injecting techniques. portlandkelly Posted March 28, 2014 Share Posted March 28, 2014 I've had Juvederm under my eyes a couple of times to fill in the hollows. No swelling, no pain (numbing cream used), great results. I had some bruising on one eye the last time, but it's just hit-or-miss if they get a capillary.
