Already replied to you in PM but thought it would be useful for other members if I replied publicly

No, however the doctor knows all the medical terms in English and I think it is enough to go through with a consultation.

yes i want to get the power v-line ^^
and so far my experience with TLPS has been good. its been an exchange via email, and i have spoken to two of the English consultants, Regina and Melissa. For me personally, Regina treated me nicer and was always prompt with her responses whereas Melissa only e-mailed me once, a day later, and then stopped responding to me at all.

Anyways, Regina asked for my pictures and then told me what the doctor's recommendations are. We exchanged e-mails for 3 days, and I'm now waiting on getting a quote with them for the following:
-epi canthoplasty
-ptosis correction
-jaw reduction/chin reduction=v-line surgery

At first I was nervous because I've read that TLPS seems to lack customer service, but this made me feel a little bit better.

I hope you get a reply from them soon

Did you also send your photos to them to get a quote?
And aren't you going to research around for other clinics as well since there's many more choices? :P

Yes we (me and TLPS consultant) )talked for about 3 hours today. I got all the quotes I was looking for and she was willing to lower the price for me. They are incredibly professional and personal, as she took the time to explain every little detail and step to me, despite my many questions.

It's true that there are many many clinics to choose from but for me personally, TLPS has one of, if not the best results that I have ever seen. I've researched this for around 3 years, and my top 3 were:
-TLPS
-The Line
-Cheongdam U

I hope you find what you're looking for! I'm most likely going with TLPS, and once I've arrived in korea i will share my experience with anyone who is interested =)

Don't go to Cheongdam U. I went there and had surgery on my eyes 3 times because they messed up 3 times. Also my nose is a mess and I have to pay a lot of money at another clinic to fix it now. They got mad at me for writing an honest review about them and told me when I arrived at the clinic for my 2nd revision to change it to a good one.

Oh my gosh...I'm so sorry about your awful experience. I sincerely hope that the new clinic is able to fix your eyes for you. I had mostly heard only good reviews about CU but this is really sad to hear =/ Thank you for alerting me!

I spoke with another girl on this forum and she also needed to go back for a revision. It seems as though they don't do a good job on everyday people and only put their effort into those Ulzzangs you see on their site. When I came back to their clinic after 2 years, their clinic was still not so popular.

They seem to attract some chinese and older customers.

I read on Naver that a lot of people are saying they're overrated, to which I can agree.

Actually CU fixed my eyes 3 times. I'm in recovery right now. Really hope this is the last time for my eyes although they did leave scarring... sigh.

Nose for sure at another clinic because I can't risk my nose for anything.

Hi guys, reading others reviews really helped me in preparing for the surgery so I wanted to give back and hopefully my experience can help someone else too. I did non-incisional double eyelids (no epi or ptosis) at Wannabe PS. Its been about a month post op so I can say majority of the swellings gone and it fixed my biggest problem before surgery which was assymetry. I'm satisfied with how my eyes turned out based on the surgeon's skill and what he promised BUT I wished that he let me do ptosis and am now considering a revision with another clinic after my eyes settle in a few months. Its probably too soon to do it now?

I felt I had ptosis but the doctor kept reassuring me that I didn't have ptosis and that non-incision alone was enough to give me that bright eye effect. I chose this clinic cause I felt most comfortable with the surgeon that I consulted with after all my consultations with other clinics and Wannabe was surprising a lot bigger and a lot busier than I expected as not much people have reviewed them on PF. I know there's still residual swelling but I've done enough research myself to know that even with any swelling I still have ptosis since my eye is really sleepy looking and like pre-op, I still "force open" my eyes. The good thing is that the crease style/size that the surgeon promised me has held up and my recovery was really quick, surgery was only 20 mins.

Other clinics I visited:
Dream: The busiest clinic of all that I visited, and I had to wait a long time, but then I went during holiday season so I expected it. After all the waiting I was only able to see another consultant who negotiated the pricing with me. The English consultant was really nice, she kept apologizing even though it wasn't her fault and checking up on us but in the end I couldn't see Dr Park as he was rushing to a surgery. She offered to re-schedule me another time but I decided not to even though I really wanted to see Dr Park.

Item: I had my consultation with Dr Chung. He was really nice and spoke perfect English, a lot better than the English consultation. He even drew a diagram explaining the different procedures and was very clear. However all the consultants were too "dolly" looking (not in a good way in my opinion). My consultant diagnosed me incorrectly before seeing the surgeon and she seemed to be really annoyed at us about it and it showed clearly, my friend who was with me felt it also. But anyways, I just didn't feel really comfortable in this clinic, not to say that there is any problem with the doctor/clinic, just intuitively.

View: For some reason I remember this clinic being the longest of my consultations, the consultants were really nice and professional. However, the surgeon I wanted for my surgery was fully booked and the other doctor who saw me literally spent less than 3 mins to look and poke at my eyes and I was off to the consultant again. I probably spent about an hour in total with the consultants. I decided not to go with this clinic as I felt that surgeon wasn't really sincere even though I do understand it was a really busy time for clinics plus I didn't get to see the surgeon I intended to in the first place.

Teuim: Before my consultations I felt 90% sure I was going to choose Teuim as Dr Kwon is so famous on PF for eyes. But the main reason I didn't choose him was because he was the only surgeon that said I needed partial incision while the other 5 clinics reassured me that non-incision was sufficient for my eyes. I still believe he is very skilled from talking to other people on PF and he did say I did have a little bit of droopiness that ptosis correction would've corrected. I still want to go to Teuim for revision/ptosis correction but I'll have to probably wait...

Girin: Really busy clinic even though they're super small with only 2 surgeons. The eye surgeon recommended me non-incisional+epi+ptosis+lateral, which was the first clinic to recommend everything to me. He said of course I didn't have to do all, but I just felt overwhelmed that he recommended me everything lol. In the end they were fully booked for the week so I wouldn't have been able to do the surgery there anyways.

The strange thing is that before flying over to Korea, all the consultants recommended me incision+epi+ptosis via email, but after seeing the clinics in person (other than Teuim) they said non-incision was enough, so its so important to be informed and research every procedure related to what you're doing as the people that reply emails may not be as informed as you might think, plus seeing photos and seeing the surgeons in person could result in completely different diagnosis. I don't regret my decision with Wannabe as I've heard quite a few people end up with different crease style/size post op from other clinics and some of my close friends that know I had surgery have no idea what I'm talking about when I say ptosis/droopiness so it could just be me being picky or paranoid about the ptosis but I am still already researching for revision even though its still too soon to do anything.

I suggest exchange Korean won in Korea rather than Singapore as the rate in Seoul is better compared to when exchanged in other countries. You probably want to exchange only a bit in Singapore just enough for after you leave the airport and before you can get to a bank/currency exchange.

Thanks for your clinic reviews.

Did you exchange your money near Incheon airport or in gangnam? I asked a few consultants via kakao but they were unhelpful.

Yes totally agree, I exchanged my money at KEB Bank mostly since it was near where I stayed, but you'll find banks everywhere so it won't be a problem. I find the banks have better rates than the exchange booths at Myeongdong but its not much of a difference to be honest.
