tari_tigerlily Posted July 10, 2015 Posted July 10, 2015 i was planning to do it in korea guesss i wont hv the chance since i'm only gonna be there for a short perid of time
k-couture Posted July 10, 2015 Posted July 10, 2015 well look on the bright side, in korea there are several clinics that don't actually use the american standard fraxels but rather a korean make. I hear the quality is not as good. So i might be better off doing it back home anyway
xiangxiang0731 Posted July 11, 2015 Posted July 11, 2015 Thanks for your reply! Want to clarify your first sentence. Do you mean laser lipo Sooon is a good clinc in Hayley street?
lolipop32swiss Posted July 11, 2015 Posted July 11, 2015 I meant vaser lipo as I wrote. It is a procédure that is very popular in thé UK and well préformed in thé privâte clinic and my friends recommended drs in Hayley street for that procédure. One friend just had hers on thursday and will keep us updated so I can go âhead and book flight and accomodation to go. It is lot laser lipo it is vaser lipo You can read all about it on their website. Less invasive but have good results it seems. Many friends went to lipo and Werent happy with it so I ll try and will keep u updated if you want
perfection77 Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 I've heard that Bonobagi is a clinic that only speaks Korean. That could be a possible reason for their delayed response. I have heard they are a good clinic however and I plan on consulting with them.
xiangxiang0731 Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 Thank you for the information! Will do some research on it now! And please keep me updated with your result! Are you or your friend Asian/oriental? I heard white skin react differently from oriental skin.
xiangxiang0731 Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 I just googled vaser lipo and it was a procedure to remove fat from body and I was asking laser skin treatment to remove dark spots on my face. Two very different things.
lolipop32swiss Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 Oh no what I meant is that I know the clinic in Hayley street and im going there for vaser lipo But for your spots u suggested to try leaders clinic or dami skin.
jillyqueen Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 Yes never trust what the Koreans say. Do your own research. Forums are the most accurate I feel. Cause it's by word of mouth.
tari_tigerlily Posted July 21, 2015 Posted July 21, 2015 for all of you that went for consultations and surgeries, are you required to furnish your passport? e.g. do they photocopy your passport if yes, is it mandatory?
hj88 Posted July 21, 2015 Posted July 21, 2015 It's never been a requirement at any of the places I've been - only at hotels
echolic11 Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 Hey guys! How do I go about finding an English Translator/Consultant for when I go?
blu3butterfly Posted July 24, 2015 Posted July 24, 2015 Alot of clinics have an in house english consultant. You'll only need a translator if you plan to visit a clinic that doesn't have one, but be careful as some translators ask clinics for commision so you could end up paying more for the surgeries.
dragonboat Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 Hi guys/girls, I am planning to visit Korea soon for consultations and surgery - I've shortlisted some clinics and combed through the forum (thank you, Search tool!), but it's down to this four: 1. Opera (http://www.operasurgery.co.kr/) 2. Korea PS (http://www.korea-ps.com/pc_ver.jsp) 3. Dream* (http://en.e-dream.co.kr/) 4. Real (http://www.realcosmetic.com/english/main/main.php) 5. MVP (http://www.imvp.co.kr/) * not sure if this is the right Dream clinic I've been reading in the forum... I would really appreciate it if any of you have any post-op reviews - particularly for Korea PS and Real as I have yet to come across any! I'm mainly looking at rhinoplasty and lateral canthoplasty, if that helps! Thank you in advance x
