cloudbusting
The clinics are definitely backed up with tons of e-mails received during the holidays. They probably respond to the newest ones first, so the older your e-mail, the longer you have to wait, especially if it's not in Korean. If the employee in charge of responding to non-Korean e-mails isn't in the office, that increases the wait time even more.
bkzabii
Some clinics don't reply via email but it doesn't mean they should be crossed off your list.. try kakao or walkins ..don't bother doing deposits its not necessary to reserve a spot I've never had a problem with booking surgery and everyone I met in korea never had a problem with it...jw and chungdam u and item are quick with kakao replies and they all speak english.. view doesn't have english translators last time I checked and neither does jewelry or girin.. real has an english speaking consultant and she's really pretty so if u decide to do walk in you won't have any problems with communication.. da speaks chinese/mandarin idk if they speak english. Hope this helps, and the prices are higher than locals because they also have insurance and insurance covers some surgeries ... its like going to see a doctor in america without medicaid
bkzabii
But none the less you should always negotiate since it Is your money after all... go to a few clinics consult a few doctors and then go back to the doctor you felt most comfortable with and let them know your price range and what the other clinic offered (low ball is the key ) example go to clinic b and say clinic a offered you $1000 less than what they really did and if that clinic can match it you have a winwin situation .. once you consult a few more clinics you have an idea of how much each surgeries cost.. also try to get clinics to throw In free stuff like botox fillers or facials it cost them practially nothing and makss u an extra happy customer
vitalic
Thanks so much for all the helpful info guys! ^^ I called and made an appt with Teuim for tomorrow. I also visited Life Clinic today for a consultation for my eyes. This was to fix asymmetric eyelids via double eyelid surgery and lengthen them with epicanthoplasty + lateral canthoplasty. Original quoted price for all three was 3.5 mil krw but a bit of negotiating brought it down considerably. I didn't want double eyelids, but they said the asymmetry would require creating very small double eyelids. I also wanted fillers or a fat graft to reduce my dark circles but they didn't recommend it because my aegyo sal would disappear.
malissa
View and DA do have english speaking staff to reply and attend in consultations. I wrote them on KakaoTalk and got answers in perfect English from both places. Girin doesn't have an English translator, but some of the staff speak okay English and will reply in English as well as they can and help you out ( :

hongkongphooey
Has anyone noticed their upper lip has dropped since rhinoplasty? This is because the depressors in your nose has been cut or has stopped working due to open nose surgery. Does anyone know of any specialist upper lip lift doctors in Korea or UK?
