Im not sure about it so i googled and found out too many people on realself were not happy for a result . I decided to do fat lipo and buccal fat removal instead. I've seen good result of threadlift amongst friends though but like u said they are also people who are not happy with their results. Which clinic u go to for lipo and which part? I mean, they said it could take up to 6 months for the swelling to go away -- but I'm already happy with what I see in the mirror now, and if across the next few more months my jaw gets slimmer and slimmer then I'll just be even more happy hehe :3 The botox they gave me to my jaw muscles helped a lot too! A lot of my friends have pointed out that I look different in a good way, but they also just dismiss it to loss of weight, which means I must look natural! Big whoop-whoop Hm. My eyes though. I'm like half and half on this one. The swelling has pretty much gone away now, which is great because I don't look like an alien anymore. My left eye is pretty perfect. Natural looking. No scars. My right eye though...sigh. It's clearly not the same as my left (about 1mm higher, which doesn't seem like a lot but actually it makes a heckload of difference visually) and so it always looks slightly more swollen until I balance it out with makeup. Thank God for makeup. But it sucks because I never wore that much makeup before, and now I have to wear it everyday to correct a mistake that shouldn't even be there in the first place. I took surgery so I could have bare face days and still feel confident~ and this turned out the complete opposite! There are scars too~ along the crease-line, small pinkish marks where my sutures were. Oh, and my aegyosal fillers. UNEVEN. What is this with the whole unevenness with my eye area, especially the right eye?! Again, left eye perfect, it's cute and puffy and exactly what I wanted. With right eye, it's as if there aren't any fillers in there. My right undereye is the same as before. SAME. I'm really sad because I paid so much extra money for the fillers. *cries* Taking all this into consideration, I believe that my surgeon was really great with my jaw (he is a maxillofacial specialist after all!), but also that I probably should've asked for two separate surgeons to be assigned to me, because the two procedures I had are totally different and on two different areas of the face. And maybe the right eye is my surgeon's blind spot? I don't know. Nevertheless, I would still highly recommend the clinic, and my surgeon (for jaw procedures). Everyone there treated me like a princess and I was really well taken care of. The whole trip was literally painless and even though I complained about my results, I guess I should be happy because they're not super serious, and could probably be fixed with the tiniest tweak here or there (which I'm planning to undertake next year). Some tips from me: > Do loads of research > If you're a major pushover like me, write down everything you want to ask the surgeon beforehand and bring the notes with you so you won't forget. > Never, never be afraid to ask questions, even the big and scary and daring ones. It's your face after all. Believe it or not, I'd probably avoid most of my mistakes if I had asked questions and confirmed what I wanted with the surgeon. > Always, always bargain the price down. Even if the price they offer is already lower, BARGAIN IT DOWN! You'll save yourself a lot, and it's good to have plenty of money leftover in case something goes wrong. According to google, you should make your first counter offer really low i.e. offer local prices. Which most clinics will probably refuse and then go up from there. Or just mention how a different clinic offered you a certain price that you want them to match. Has anyone here managed to successfully negotiate a lower price? I've heard that sometimes it can take up to 3-6 months to see your final results. Did the same facial surgeon do your eyes? Doesn't Dream allow two different specialists to perform different types of surgery on you? Who was the doctor that did your eyes? I'm going to consult with Dr. Park (KCouture's doctor) for nose, eyes and fat graft in December. Hopefully everything's alright with that Anyway, thanks for sharing and good luck with your recovery! skinnypig Posted October 30, 2014 Share Posted October 30, 2014 I asked Opera Plastic Surgery about hair transplant a while ago and they quoted me 300~350,000 won for 3000 grafts. I think normally most clinics charge 350,000won for 2000 grafts. Btw in one session a maximum of 4000 hairs can be transplanted.
