Accommodation and Preparing for PS Seoul!

Recommended Posts

I remember getting 1GB when first getting the SIM. That lasted me about 3 weeks, but I use my phone A LOT and I never skimp on using data. The data package is valid for one month.

Not sure. I was staying temporarily at a friend's place before moving to Polaris and just met them in person. Calling should be okay, though. The lady working here knows some english.

Hey guys, the price for the guest house is actually 800,000 krw per month if you are staying alone! I paid 900,000 krw because I've been staying with my mom. I'm not sure about the daily/monthly rates, though.

Thanks so much for all the info.
On their website, they show a common cafe/kitchen area. Do you know if any units there have private kitchens?
thanks!

Unfortunately the EG Sims only work on unlocked phones...

Pasky I am not sure where you're from but in my country (UK) you can ask your courier to unlock your phone whilst you are abroad. It costs a fee but unlocking is a right that you can ask from your phone provider in developed countries I believe.
Otherwise buy a cheap $30-$50 phone like a nokia, samsung or like those 'brick' phones just for simple calling/messaging because I believe it's quite important to be able to call the clinic in case of emergency post -op (when you feel extremely nauseous or bleeding etc).
