xiaomimi Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 I was wondering whether has anyone researched on or done buccal fat surgery? Is this procedure risky or does it produce bad effects aesthetically in the long run?
k-couture Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 I've had 2 buccal fat removals. not a risky procedure. Aesthetical results depends on your surgeon. You do not want too much removed because it can cause sagging when you are older. Also one thing to note is that u should avoid this procedure if you have noticable asymmetry to the face as this procedure will make it much more obvious. The most common side effect from this procedure is asymmetry.
k-couture Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 no. its done through an intra oral incision from the cheek wall and "teasing" the buccal fat pad out. It cannot be forcefully pulled out as that area is full of sensory and more imporantly, motor nerves. Doing so may rip and damage your nerves hence why the surgeon will tease it out.
hyie Posted June 21, 2014 Posted June 21, 2014 Are there any other ways to remove fats if i have asymmetrical face?
k-couture Posted June 21, 2014 Posted June 21, 2014 facial lipo, acculift, lipo dissolve (not a surgery but can be dangerous under unskilled hands)
a2158 Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 Anyone have recommendations as to what face slimming procedure I should have with buccal fat removal? I don't have square jaws but I have fat cheeks and double chin. 5 years ago I had lipo around my chin area to get rid of my double chin. The operation was such a waste of time and money (4000AUD) 6 months post op the double chin is still there but a little less obvious. Now that I've gained 3 kgs my double chin is more obvious than before the operation. Was the lipo I had the same as facial lipo?
changechange Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 You can try Botox? My friend did it she said her face has a difference. More v line after she injected Botox.
sheonlylooks25 Posted August 11, 2014 Posted August 11, 2014 In addition to buccal fat removal. Can the typical ROUND Chinese face have jaw work done to achieve the v line look? Unfortunately most of the before & after are on Korean faces which have really heavy jaws etc.
wonderamy Posted August 13, 2014 Posted August 13, 2014 How much is the buccal fat removal in general?
k-couture Posted August 13, 2014 Posted August 13, 2014 i paid 5000 plus aussie dollars for mine. But korea would be cheaper. I imagine it would range from 3-4 mill won depending on the clinic
shinenim Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Botox and fillers are pretty cheap here as compared to SG, according to my friend who did hers in SG. Botox for the jaw muscle ( the area where we chew food and have muscle? I dont know what is the term), laugh line and fillers for chin my friend just asked BK and was quoted USD1.2k. I dont know much about all these - just sharing the information - and also.. i heard that there are 3-4 different kind of fillers and all of them are of different price... So maybe it would be good if you can compare the prices with a few other clinics?
keynmate Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 Which clinic in Seoul would be best for Buccal fat removal? Has anyone tried facial liposuction?
