baicakoloi
Does anyone know where is a good place to exchange $$$ for a good rate in Gangnam Gu? Thanks in advance
odnok
wouldn't it been easier to change it before you left the country? Unless you are already there.
earthhan86
if you are there already than just go to any of the banks it is pretty much samething from the bank dont exchange it from not secured place
chinimplant
Hey All, I hate carrying thousands of US in cash. Do you think I can open a bank account in Korea to store my US cash there until I have to pay for the surgery? I'm not sure what the regulations are in Korea? Anyone know? rinda10
I guess you need to ask bank as first its possible of not.
let-me-out
I don't think tourists visiting Korea (i.e. people without a work/resident visa) can open an account at Korean banks. There's no reason for them to offer services to people who will be in the country for a few weeks.
meimei5105
Exchange rate at Seoul is much favorable than other places, like New York, the difference is like5-10%. I have done zygoma and vline at EverM, and they accept $ calculated via bank exchange rate, at the time about 45 days, it was 1:1045 something like that. I exchanged $1500 before leaving Seoul and regreted ever since carrying that big stack of won with me haha
baicakoloi
It is not hard but exchange rate very low. Like 102usd for 105000won i guess. I lost huge if i go for big amount. Thats why
