Hey everyone,

I am planning on getting v-line, rhinoplasty, and eyelid surgery in korea next year at DAPRS clinic. I have some questions about payment-- when exactly do i have to pay the full amount for the procedures? I've never made an international wire transfer before, so I guess I'm a little worried about how exactly I will pay for it. Aren't there limits for how much I can transfer? It's going to be a lot...

I ask only bc I don't feel comfortable paying in cash.

Thanks!!

Why don't you ask to the clinic? They could answer your question I guess

Hi. I had went to DA with another PBF girl. We paid by cash and immediately after we had decided. For transfer wise i am not quite sure. I did my eyelid, rhino and chin implant removal at DA. I am intending to have genioplasty either late this yr or maybe next yr.

For those who are looking for surgeons to do their Zygoma reduction and V-line like me, I have searched through this website and asked my korean friends.
One name came up: Dr Kim W-J from Regen and Dr Oh from the same clinic
I also saw great job from a girl from the forum Dan4me who get her facial contouring done with Dr Hong from BK Clinic, which I might be reluctant to go…
Prices may be higher than other clinic but this is such an important procedures that I am willing to give it a visit at least.

But if you guys have photos to share and names of other specialists I'll be more than happy to see them )

I visited a clinic called Namu which I had never heard of before. Anyways interesting thing is they have some kind of patented zygoma reduction method but their english was so bad that I couldn't grasp their technique. Something about a pinch???? Some pinch technique? lol see that's as far as we got.... Anyways, anyone here know about this patented method?

Pls stay away from BK if you want to have the services equal to what you pay. Though they are a little more pricey than other places, it was my 1st ps and i decided to pay a little extra to go for double eyelid and epic w Dr Kim in aug 2014.

For skills, i dont think the doctors are bad. But they are arrogant i must say. Only Alice, the foreign devision manager is nice. Otherwise, the staffs and Dr Kim are unbelivable. He lives in singapore and only flies to korea during weekends and weekdays with lots of surgeries lined up. Therefore, on operation day, i guess he was stressed with the schedule and he basically shouted at my face when i said i wanted dramatic change and gave him the pic of the eyes i wanted. Though he agreed to cut 8mm (which is the max due to my bone structure), now it is 6mm. And i must say my eyes kind of stay unchanged, only 1mm higher at the end of the eyes since i alredi had double hidden eyelids before. Why should i pay so much money to get the same result????

I just went through FC with DA, my experiences with Dr Lee are favorable during 2 consultations and the op day at least. Though some say he is a little moody, he was patient enough to give me 2nd consultations and explained to me in details how many mm he was going to cut my cheekbone, jaw, chin and what are the reasons behind. i guess he knew i was interested but i was still nervous n doubtful. (For jaw and chin, it s due to where your nerve lines are, for zygoma, it is e distance between the bones that decides how much e arch bone can be pushed inwards to reduce facial width). So far, i can see my zygoma has been reduced a lot. So im a little relieved he kept his promise. My jaw and chin are still swollen so i dont know how they ll turn out yet. After one month i ll do a through review:smile:. Katie, the english translator is very kind too, she ll basically have to stay in hospital if they have foreign patients staying overnite for FC and BA. She ll check on u a couple of times during the night too. The nurses ll check on u and change some stuff every 4 hours.

During 2nd consultation i also asked for his opinions abt my eyes too, n he said due to my eye bone structure, my eyelids could only be 2mm higher and i cant expect to have dolly eyes. (So for diagnosis, same as BK, 8mm). So he advised me against revision since it was a waste of money. Of course he could do if i insisted.

To sum up, avoid overcrowded places with their crazy marketing strategies. Do through research about the methods and find a doctor who listens to what you want, patient, reliable to deliver the results he say he will. Those arrogant places like BK ll only think of u purely as cashcows and dont care.
