Hello, the mouth can be open back to max when is around 1month... I look very normal since Day 11 (looking back at my photos, I look pretty as though as I just finish fat grafting to my face when I did nothing of that sort. What I meant was that I look fuller and more radiant and young.) The bloated-ness of the face recover when I was in Seoul but when I return back to my country (a tropical country), my face kind of swollen quite a bit but is fine, part and parcel of recovery.

YK is really good. Dr Kim speaks English as well. Many ways to liaise with him through IG or email... He reply fast (maybe because I am a serious genuine patient). I have return back to YK in 2015 for checkup on the healing progress after a year and did extra procedures such as fat-grafting to certain body areas. The result was that the healing was great!! Good to know...

No problem... Hope it helps whoever are interested to know about FC and the clinic.
YKPS has move to a new clinic now which I feel is much better as the area span across one whole floor instead of many different storeys like the old clinic.

I am back in YKPS for the removal of screws and plates.....

No, by Day 11 or 12 I think I was partying already (definitely not supposed to, but I don't really care. I think we went to Club A).

Okay updates, after 3years!! We are back in YKPS again to remove our screws.
So FC in 2014.
Back for review in 2015 (plus other minor surgeries like fat-grafting)
Now! Removing screws and plates in 2017

One news (which is our own fault), we waited way too long for the removal of screws where certain areas might be way too difficult for removal as the bones has overgrown and covered the plates/screws already.

Day1: when we landed in Seoul
My Surgery: Remove all plates/screws, Undereyes Fat Repositioning, Fat-Graft to Face&Boobs
Bff Surgery: Remove all plates/screws, Thigh Liposuction, Fat-Graft to Face

So we had our surgeries in the evening around 5+pm. Dr Kim do both of us concurrently together, I was put on GA while BFF is put on IV. So while waiting for my GA to take effect, Dr Kim went to liposuction bff's thigh first.

Fastforward the worst part is over on the first night (where the throat is burning fire dryness). Thereafter everything is better. We overly prepared this time bringing lots and lots of instant food (thinking that we under-prepared the last round), so this time round we came with lots of instant noodles/porridge, soup and even canned food etc. And then we realise our mouth can be open like normal without any restriction at all after the surgery. LOL!!

BFF has no problem with the extend of how wide she can open her mouth after the surgery. It is like normal width to her.
I have slight problem as I remove more screws as compared to her (especially around the jaw areas). But definitely MUCH BETTER than when we were having the FC 3years ago.

Would suggest anyone who would like to remove screws/plates to do it after 1year of their FC. I have a particular area at the chin where it can't be removed after 3years as the bones has overgrown the plates/screws. It was completely our own fault as Dr Kim did advice/suggest us to return in a year to remove the plates/screws (because it was our intention all along to remove the metals inside us). But back then when we return in 2015, we did not.

Anyway, other than my chin area, everything else has been removed. For BFF, everything of her has been removed as well.

The swollen and bruises are kind of the same recovery progress (previously) until now Day 4. But the current Day0 now versus the FC Day0 three years back then are of tremendous difference. Day 0 for FC during 2014, please bring someone you trusted and don't mind to get their hands dirty along with you to take care of you.

For the Day 0 now in 2017, I can take care of myself quite soon after I wake up. I didn't even press the call-bell at all. Was definitely physically much stronger.

Hope it helps!!

Thanks for the update! As per screws do you know if it's better to choose the regular screw or the dissolvable one? Does YK carry the dissolvable?
About your screw at chin area, is it okay to leave it just like that? Or the dr will take another try to take it off?
