pinkyy99 Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 Congrats you look great after the surgery Is it okay that you can post your day 8 pic? As I really want to see if it is very swollen after stitches taken out. Thanks so much
yukina89 Posted December 9, 2014 Author Posted December 9, 2014 I'm sorry, but I don't have any day 8 photo. But I can tell you that my nose was not very swollen. It was, however slightly burised on the sides of my upper nose bridge. As for my chin, it wasn't even swollen to begin with, lol. I had the stiches on my nose taken out on day 6.
nilesy Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 You look really chic now, reminded me of Kiko Mizuhara. Thanks for sharing your results and experience! with us!
flawn08 Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 Are there any surgeons that specialize in chin implant? Or just those who specialize in any facial contouring (like surgeons who do mini v or zygoma reduction)?
27fseoul Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 Congrats! TheLine seems to produce nice noses. All the reviews on the Korean sites have said good things too and they all look very pretty. Quick question, do you know if TheLine clinic offers premaxilla implants? (It's the implant that goes right under the nose base for acute angled noses.) Wishing you a fast recovery.
jesssk Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 I absolutely love your side profile and your nose now !! I am also planning to go to the line clinic next week for consultations!! DId you felt that the consultants were pushy in trying to get you to do more procedures than necessary? Is Dr lee the only facial contouring doctor? From the website it seems that there are at least 2 doctors for facial contouring. Did the doctors spoke/understood English? Thanks!! X0X0
yukina89 Posted December 10, 2014 Author Posted December 10, 2014 Thank you for the compliments! Purse Forum has always been one of my major sources of research, and I feel it's high time for me to contribute something. Lol
yukina89 Posted December 10, 2014 Author Posted December 10, 2014 I'm not too sure if they have a chin implant specialist, to be honest. But I do feel that chin implant would probably fall under the facial contour specialist. I do know that Dr. Lee (the one who did my buccal fat removal) is one of the facial contour specialists as she's the one I see when I ask for opinion on quick zygoma reduction.
yukina89 Posted December 10, 2014 Author Posted December 10, 2014 Thanks for the good wishes! I'm sorry, but I have no idea if they offer premaxilla implants.
yukina89 Posted December 10, 2014 Author Posted December 10, 2014 Thanks for the compliments! While I'm not sure about The Line's other consultants, I can definitely say that my consultant was not pushy at all. My consultant (Ms Shin) was very sweet in a motherly way. She never suggested me to do anything I didn't want or need. Even when I haggled the price, she was very quick to agree to my haggled price (770 won). I don't think Dr. Lee is the only facial contour specialist. I actually think there might be one more, but I'm not too sure. The doctors did not speak English with me as I have my cousin acting as my Chinese-to-Korean translator. They do however, have both in-house English and Chinese translators.
bingu Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 Thank you SO much for sharing and continuing to answer questions! Out of curiosity, if you dont mind sharing, what picture(s) did you show them as a desired result?
flawn08 Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 Thx alot yukina for answering zillion questions for me
cute_lil_fiend Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 I laughed when I read the typo in your title...I too know how it feels to come off of anesthetic and not have all my wits about me. Kudos to your successful surgery! I will be putting YK on my consult list if I decide to do a chin implant, although I'm currently leaning more towards sliding genioplasty atm.
