chlak5 Posted November 11, 2014 Posted November 11, 2014 Hi Guys, I'm looking into these clinics for double eyelid revision (possibility, not quite sure yet if i have to), epicanthoplasty, lateral cantoplasty, and fillers for the nose, chin, and forehead. As well as aeygosal. Any reasons I should keep them on the list or take them out? I'm looking for very natural and minimal work and definitely not those dolly eyes lol since I'm a man. So with that said, any of these clinic popular among men? I would like to hear your recommendation and experience. And possibility how much I would need to save up for the trip. Also, please let me know if there are any additional clinics that you think I should look into. I'm looking for more local clinics for the value and the price. I know Teuim is very expensive, but I would like to see the difference. Also, most of these clinics don't seem to speak English, but I would like to get estimates from them. But, some of these website estimates make you register with phone numbers and stuff and I have no clue. So, perhaps emails of these clinics they respond for estimates? Thank all in advance.
forever23 Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 hello, chlak5, im also doing my research on ps in korea for eyes nose and breasts. my list is a bit different from your. mine includes wonjin (i might remove it due to bad reviews on the other threads), teuim, da, misarang, top class, and tl. so far, i got quoted from teuim and tl. teuim: non-incision: 1.2 mi incision (ptosis correction added): 2 mi (2.5-3 mi) each epi and lateral canthoplasty: 1.4 mi teuim answered me very quickly! they also commented the price can be different depending on my situation. i also told you i got an reply from tl, but they didn't quote me. they require me to send photos of my eyes so they quote me better. but somehow i felt their reply is rude. i received very short email, compared to my long one (maybe that bothered them?). anyway i need to send my photos again for being quoted. they quote me for breasts, though. btw, it would be great if you can share your info with me

I'm looking at local clinics and it looks like these clinics I'm looking for the popular clinics among locals while banobagi and teuim is known for both locals the foreigners. I didn't hear anything about other clinics you mentioned. What is Tl? I haven't send in my pictures for estimates, but how did you send it to Teuim? Do they have email address or something I can send to? Do you have kakao or we chat?
keitara Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 Regarding to your list clinics, I'm also interesting in Opera and Teuim as well. But I'm also considering Dream too. From my point of view, Teuim is only good for eyes but i'm thinking of do something else too so this is just only in case of doing eyes only. Opera has only one drawback which is English communication (since i'm not Chinese speaker as well). So Dream is the last option since they are good not only the eyes but also other thing as well, and the doctor can speak English.

Teuim got back to me really quick and Dr. Kwon speaks English plus he specializes in eyes so that's my first choice as of now. I received the same price quote as forever23 so that's probably standard pricing. I booked with Real on their website as they didn't reply but they are relatively popular with locals which is why I want to consult with them. Opera never replied me when I sent them an email using English, so I had to wechat the Chinese consultant, though my Chinese is horrible, I suggest you either use kakao or wechat if you want to book with Opera. I was told that they do have people who speak English there so I guess contacting them is the only hard part. I also have tried to contact Jaedon as I heard a lot of good reviews about locals with double eyelid surgery there, I wonder if anyone was able to get a reply/receive a quote from them?

I wasn't able to get replies for any of the clinics yet, but I want to send them letters. Do you know what is the best way to do so? I'ts kinda rather hard to consult via WeChat or Kakao, but I think sending emails maybe better. Do you have Kako or Wechat for yourself?

I'm not sure how you sent the emails but for me I just stated that I want to consult for double eyelid surgery on _______ (specific date and time) and asked price/if there was time for me to consult. I usually receive a pretty fast response within a day or 2 except for Real which didn't reply me at all. I guess since I state specifically when I want to book consultation they are more willing to respond faster knowing that I am setting a date. Then if you have any questions about revision or surgery ask after they reply you. Maybe you're not getting response if you send them too long of a letter in the first email, they may be reluctant to respond. Hope this helps
forever23 Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 if you google teium plastic surgery, then their english website pops up, but it never opened so far for me. instead, i visited their google blog and there is their email address! i didnt send my photos to them. i told what i want to know in detail in my email and they simply answered my, not like other ps clinics like wonjin or tl. i got to know tl from this forum. it seems like being famous for nose here, so i just wanted to check it out! tl quoted me for breasts though. da never replied back to me, so as topclass. misarang website is under construction, so there is nothing i can do with that clinic. im sorry but i dont have kakaotalk or wechat. jw is also very popular here, so i wanna check them out too! ill be in korea enough to have as many consultations as possible, so im open to all clinics lol ill pm you when i get emails

tyler_durden Posted November 26, 2014 Posted November 26, 2014 My thinking was to find clinic with an eyelid surgery specialist. I would like to be able to select my own surgeon, have a consultation with him and have the surgery done by him, not hospital assigns a surgeon on the day of the surgery. I am not really biased towards smaller local clinic. It's just that my approach seems to weed out the big ones. Price wise, I am not too concerned. Teuim is not exactly cheap, compare to other big clinics.
