lkq Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 Can I know which doc u consulted with and why you din proceed with the surgery? I visited banobagi too on 22 Oct 2016 for double eyelid and ptosis correction with Mr Lee via Dfk and had paid the deposit abt USD 300. As I have serious ptosis problem with very weak or no muscle, Mr Lee have no confidence with my surgery. Even his assistant told me she never see him reply with no confirdent before. He said "I have to open out and see if I can find any muscle inside and try my best to tighten it, if I can't find any muscle I will have to close it back".... that's the reason why I did not proceed with the surgery. But still I feel Mr Lee is good just that my case is not easy. I have book consultation with ID and MVP in end Dec 2017. Anyone know which doc is good to ptosis correction? KakaoTalk Nana
ohblackrabbit Posted September 12, 2017 Posted September 12, 2017 Hmm, for my surgery (chin implant) I have done research mainly from realself website. Since there are not alot of info about that here (generally they would do genioplasty), I know i dont want to use screw for my implant. Dr lee banobagi wanted to insert screw so eventhough I kinda liked him, i still didnt want to use any screw inside my body. So i ended up doing consultation with dr.Kirk at Namu Clinic, he didnt talk so much mainly bcos he didnt speak english at all. But he understood what i want and i like the BA photos. Pricewise yes namu is wayyy cheaper but that wasnt the reason I chose namu. Anyway for ur ptosis correction, u might want to check out namu, i heard from my korean friend that namu is kinda popular for eye surgery, BUT i am not sure too, it's just wad i heard from a friend
l0stinmymind Posted September 13, 2017 Posted September 13, 2017 If you dont mind me asking where did u go for double eyelid? I wanted to do it but I am so conflicted with which place and doctor to go to. Everyone else: please let me know your advise too. I don't speak Korean but I have seen a friend who went to god knows where and have a botched job. Her eyelids cannot close all the way ... so now I am super scared.
lkq Posted September 13, 2017 Posted September 13, 2017 I'm going consultation in Dec with ID hospital and MVP. If you are doing ptosis correction it's normal that your eyelids cannot close all the way. It could be healing stage too. It also depends on individual condition. I personal think Banobagi is good. It's just that my case is different.

minigenji Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 I am planning to go get my surgeries done in 2018 March so I contacted DFK since a lot of people on this forum recommended this agent. Let me tell you. I am not very impressed of the way how they communicated with me. Getting plastic surgery and having kunai operating on my face is a huge thing in life and I take it very seriously. One mistake on my face could mess up my entire life. As I am going through the researching phase and I got very curious so I sent all my concerns and questions to my case manager from DFK. You can't believe it. Most of my questions got ignored and left unanswered. Because of this, I do not feel comfortable using their service.
gfacho Posted October 11, 2017 Posted October 11, 2017 What are these big clinics with bad reviews? I'm thinking of going to either ID or JK for chin reduction and lower face lift.
333soul Posted October 11, 2017 Posted October 11, 2017 hey everyone this is my experience with docfinder. i had surgery this summer in korea and didn't knew where to start my research thats why i contacted docfinder first. you send them your pictures and they will give you feedback from 5 different clinics with the procedure, doctor, price etc. since i wasn't unsure about the prices that they gave me i also contacted some of the clinics myself and the price difference wasn't as big as i thought. at some clinics they gave me the same price as docfinder which surprised me since there service is 'free'. in the end i went without docfinder since i had another clinic in mind that wasn't promoted by them but when i went to all my consultations i finally chose a clinic that was promoted by them. so no airport pick up service for me T_T
vivibaby22 Posted October 11, 2017 Posted October 11, 2017 Hi dear, which clinic did u choose in the end? And mind to share how much discount did DFK managed to get for u at the clinic u chosen?
333soul Posted October 12, 2017 Posted October 12, 2017 i had my rhinoplasty at GNG done. i considered going with DFK but didn't in the end. if you go to korea alone i would use their service but since i was accompanied with someone we just went by ourselves i just looked up my email conversation with them and they do offer quite big discounts. it varies from 7-22% discount.
oliviacom Posted October 12, 2017 Posted October 12, 2017 Hello. It’s sad to hear that you didn’t go with Docfinder and couldn’t enjoy airport pick up free service TT. I used their service as FREE. Not only airport pick up is free and also includes airport sendoff too. And during all the consultation day, surgery day and check up days, Docfinder picked me up from hotel and send me back to my place. I requested go coex mall after check up at clinic, they also bring me hahahaha. And I didn’t have to pay any taxi fee or extra fee. I knew their service made my whole surgery trip so smooth and comfortable. That’s way I am here to recommend you guys to go with Docfinder but not only with friends or alone. You must regret if you don’t use them hahahaa!! Btw, your result was good at GNG?
amber-fate Posted October 13, 2017 Posted October 13, 2017 I have contacted them and I honestly don't feel comfortable at all with DFK because of their short answers and them ignoring my questions.
gfacho Posted October 14, 2017 Posted October 14, 2017 I contacted Doc Finder Korea last week and they said they will give me the best matches for my requested procedure soon. Do you know which clinics are best for jaw/chin reduction?
