Hello, I'm back, a question this time, tight skin

Recommended Posts

hello, so I had my primary nose job half a yr ago, it wasn't the perfectest thing, but it was okay. I am okay with the result. Only now there is a problem
I didn't ask for too much of an exaggerated effect, rather safe.
However, the tightness is still there at times, not too much, just a senstaion.
Problem is, on the side of my nose tip, initially an milimeter area of the skin was peeling, I thought it was dead skin after the cast, but now it's red and thinner
I would have been worried much earlier, but I didn't see the shape of implant showing, there wasn't anything about my nose shape that suggest an over stretch. But after many attempts of creaming it, it is still red, and even a bit tender if I touch it often.
Pls, any info would help, does this happen, isn't it only get too stretched at the very tip?

That's quite odd. Have you brought this to the attention of your surgeon?

Half a year after my nose job it was still a little painful to touch the tip but I don't recall redness. Maybe your skin is very thin.

from what you are describing it seems like an infection. This occurs when the skin begins to feel red and tender, and later it will end up pussing up and become crusty. Often infections can mean impending extrusion. First thing you will want to do is to control the infection with anti biotics. One forumer recently experienced the same problem u did and I told her the name of my script. I can't remember it off the top of my head but ill message u when i get home and check my medicine cabinet.

Take care and don't touch your nose in the mean time.

Thanks, kcouture, long time no see, thanks for ur reply, but this isn't really an infection, I think, I know what i described might be slightly misleading. See it isn't progressing that fast, its been the same small red dot for 3-4 months, plus, it's not swollen, not hot, if it were an infection it would have been pusing already.

In any case it looks like a small acne scar, or a tiny scratch

Either way, I'm very worried, so pls tell me ur script, it could still be helpful, u know when the skin barrier isn't there in good health. Sigh, so worried
I have communicated with the surgeon, but I am taking a picture, it's hard to show it without the proper lighting
