bulqi Posted January 31, 2015 Posted January 31, 2015 Hey sorry its me again. I have contacted Teuim and they said they can't help. Its quite weird because JW, JK, Banobagi and Grand(which i am not considering anymore) told me that they could do the surgery for me. At this point I don't know what should I think and do. I am really really interested on having a surgery(actually I would like to have a Canthopexy which i can't find in korea) but that would be a Lateral canthoplasty or Lateral epicanthoplasty as other clinics in korea told me. Are JW, JK or Banobagi good enough for eyes surgery? or they told me they can do it for me just because they think about money??
hollygoesrawrrr Posted January 31, 2015 Posted January 31, 2015 Hi, I'm also looking into plastic surgery at JK. The only thing is - I'm an American with a large western nose with a big bump. Would a place like JK be a good place to go? Would they be able to shape my nose correctly, or would they be accustomed to Asian noses?
akurairain Posted January 31, 2015 Author Posted January 31, 2015 For foreign patients, I suggest you go to JK. They tend to stick with the western styles because they tend to get more western patients. http://jkplastic.com/en/
akurairain Posted January 31, 2015 Author Posted January 31, 2015 All three of them are pretty decent for eyes. I would suggest either JK or Banobagi. Banobagi is not good for noses and JK is not good for facial contouring.http://jkplastic.com/en/http://www.engbanobagi.com/main/ I hear mixed reviews from both, but since Teuim is not willing to do it, they're your best bet.
bulqi Posted January 31, 2015 Posted January 31, 2015 I don't know why Teuim gave me a no as answer. Maybe I don't need it but i really want it.. I think I would look so much better if I do the surgery. Sorry for being annoying, one last question: what about OZ? I read so many good things about this clinic in one post and so many bad things in another. Their price are really really cheap(880,000 KRW for a Lateral Epichantoplasty). Of course i am not thinking only in terms of money but if they are really good as i read in some post and also cheap that would be very interesting for me.
akurairain Posted February 1, 2015 Author Posted February 1, 2015 She had it at The Line clinic. It's pretty good.
akurairain Posted February 1, 2015 Author Posted February 1, 2015 OZ is the absolute worst for eyes. You're not being annoying at all! Try Regen for good eyes. They lack in aftercare, but at least they're safe. http://www.regenglobal.net/index.php
pugster Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 Is banobagi bad for noses? It's on the top of my list but if prices don't go down, I'll go to Regen for economical reasons. I saw some bloggers who had their noses done at Banobagi and they look pretty good. I just want to confirm sources with you before I decide where to go. Thanks!
bulqi Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 Thank you so much you are so kind. Ok I just did the online consultation with Regen, I hope the price will be ok as JK. Do you know someone who did eyes surgery in Regen?
akurairain Posted February 1, 2015 Author Posted February 1, 2015 Dr. Ban does bad noses according to a lot of Korean sources. A lot of plastic surgery places show only the best side of them. Try Regan for good rhinoplasty.http://regenglobal.net/index.php?page=html&mc=30&menu_gb=EN Again, they lack in aftercare, but at least they're good.
akurairain Posted February 1, 2015 Author Posted February 1, 2015 No, I've only read a lot of online forums from Regen saying that they're good.
blasian Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 Before I started reading more often on this thread, I was seriously considering Wonjin! I am so glad that I did not give them any money. Also, they were significantly more expensive and wanted me to pay about $19,000 USD, this is why I started looking around more. For that kind of money I can just stay in the United States.
odnok Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 Yeah depending on the procedure it may vary but they will definatly charge you more than the Koreans.
akurairain Posted February 1, 2015 Author Posted February 1, 2015 No problem, if all else fails stay in the US. There's a Dream plastic surgery branch in Los Angeles with the same medical procedures as everyone else. http://www.drkennethkim.com/about-us/about-la-dream/
