ysabell Posted July 9, 2015 Share Posted July 9, 2015 Having had over 20 surgeries in my lifetime (cleft lip and palate), 12 hours in surgery would be extremely dangerous, even reckless- especially for cosmetic surgery! They may have eased her in and out of sedation, I really cannot imagine more than 5 hours of actual GA being implemented... Did she remember waking up at all during the surgery or was she out like a candle? Either way-- have her call the hospital and demand to know how long she was in surgery for, just in case (and god forbid!) she sustains any kind of injury afterwards. Keep us updated! lolipop32swiss Posted July 10, 2015 Author Share Posted July 10, 2015 Hi Ysabell, Thanks for her She doesnt recall anything dr did her Eyes first for 2 hours probably under sedation and then after eyes she doesnt recall anything and all her following surgeries needed to be under ga. Thé consultants told me she is already in surgerie when I came in around 11 am And when I came back many times afterwards the last visit was just before mid Night she Was still in surgery and needed to finish Sooon. I was so shocked that I cried. I met her through purse, searched together and I fêlt very bad cause I found opera and told her about it 😢 The next morning when we came to visit I couldnt recognize her I keep telling the consultant this is not my friend she looked so weak and Didnt want it to be. Was so clumsy of me to say so out loud when I think about it. My friend said she woke up and nobody could understand her. She cried and was so weak after surgery and only korean nurse was there! Anyways now 3 months post op and she is ok. I m still talking to her daily and she is not so happy with her surgeries but she will wait before taking any actions for another couplé of months. When I think about it im so angry because her dr was scheduled with my other friend for consultation During her surgeries!!!!! In clinics I visited like Idea or da , you need to wait for dr to finish his surgery before you could see him. Sometimes u need to go and then 3 hours later they call you back if you need to be somewhere else for consultations. Anyways Night mare is over for her.
