He injected in from the mouth and had me clench unclench and felt around both the outside and the inside. He told me that it's a lot more difficult, but there is no pain if you numb it (and I didn't feel anything!) I didn't know before this you couldn't do it that way?

You smile does look crooked, wonder what went wrong with that. Who was your doctor? Did you do a background check on his experience and credibility before getting the injections. It is very important to find a experienced and reputed Facelift surgeonfor the process. I recently got the Vampire Facelift ( also known as PRP ) from Dr. Omar Fauda Neel in Montreal and the results can be seen now. I look far better than before.

He's very reputable and has great reviews online except for beast augmentation. His main focus is injectables. Can I see your results??

i've never heard of botox being administered intraorally.....why did he do that? Pain wise even if its injected externally(which it should have been) it barely hurts. Especially if u just place a cold pack or ice on it for just under a minute. I usually just go for it tho since the pain is very tolerable and quick

That sounds awful.. I had botox injected multiple times along the length of the muscle maybe 5-6 on each side at one go, but with numbing cream it didn't feel like much. Having even one injected intraorally sounds much more painful.. I hope it wears off for you soon!

Hi everyone, almost 4 years later i wanna write about this issue here. I had same issue on my 1st masseter botox treatment. Doctor was not that experienced on the issue, so he used "Insulin syringe" to inject the botox. Insulin syringes have shorter needle than usual dental syringes. So some of botox somehow was injected on my nerves on that side. In a few days, my face and smile exactly become like LoveMelon's face. Later on, I continued to get my masseter botox w another doctor who is much more experienced..He explained to me what might have happened at 1st injection w short needle syringe... For masseter muscle, for some people, botox may need to get injected deeper. And normal syringe can be used for all masseter botox treatments, one can set the distance w it. However, insulin syringe reaches until certain distance and there s high risk that where it reaches might be ur nerve. My experience may help some people. Have a good day.

Same thing happened to me . Happened exactly after 2 weeks from the Botox to Masseter and my smile is lopsided as well and even my right dimple is gone. There is nothing we can do about it unfortunately. We just have to wait it out. I don’t suggest you do anything , might make things worse.

Does anyone have an update for this? The exact thing happened to me with my masseter injection, I’m 3.5 months from my injections, and my smile is still uneven. Seems to be improving, but wanted to hear how long it took others to get their regular smile back??

Is your smile back to normal? How long did it take? I’m about 3.5 months post injection and still lop-sided smile. Hoping it won’t take too much longer!
