Hello

I am looking for a procedure to remove as much fat from my face (cheeks, jaw, chin and neck) as possible. I want a ALL of the fat off - I want my face to look sharp, lean, gaunt and boney! I don't want any chubbiness whatsoever. I have good bone structure underneath, but the fat piles on if I am not hard-dieting and really damages my look. I can only get rid of the fat from my face if I get down to 8% bodyfat, which is ultra low and just too inconvenient and unrealistic to maintain my whole life! I've tried and it is absolutely exhausting...

If you want to see what I mean by a good boned face covered in fat, look at the before and after photos of Jared Leto in the link below:

I have attached a picture of a perfect example below of what I mean by a lean face:

But the problem from my research is that they say the mid-face area is very difficult to do this. Is this true, or are there any specialised Korean Plastic Surgeons that would be able to help me? The closest treatment I have seen to having the capability is ACCULIFT. But when I look at before vs after pictures the changes do not look too dramatic.

I'm thinking buccal fat removal surgery + lipo for the neck, jawline. Acculift for my mid face.

Please tell me IF THIS IS POSSIBLE ! I want to melt ALL the fat out of my face. Just like the guys above in the photos.

Thankyou

Would be easier if you post pictures of your face (block your eyes out if you want to be anonymous). Hard to judge with nothing to look at.

I hate putting up photos of my face when the fat is there though :P

Surely people have heard something? I know women usually want to put more fat into the face so we want the opposite

Are you sure your diet isn't just making your face puffy or something? That's a very low bodyfat percentage.

It would be easier for you to just email a clinic or something with your photos if you can't post them here. I dont' think people really know how to help you like this. x Jenna

I agree. If you don't want to post photos, you should just email a surgeon. It is not safe to ask for opinions for something this complicated if you don't have your photos to assess, as it might influence you to do the *wrong* procedure.

Nah, i'm just half asian so it's genetic

Male models eg. Calvin Klein are expect to get down to roughly 9%bf for a shoot so it's common in the industry.

Do you know of any clinics that do this? I know people here are saying they don't want to give me bad advice, but I know my own body and know that it is fat. I just want to know how to get rid of it and if the laser lipo procedures are capable.

If you're half asian it's possible you don't actually have the bone structure that you're showing in the pictures.
Male models are not the same as a normal person.
There are many clinics that do procedures like this. I don't want to come off like I don't care, but you need to do a bit more research and talk to clinics before posting here because it seems like you just want us to do your research. I think people here are happy to help but need more information and not such a general/vague question. x Jenna

I know my face, trust me. I work in the fitness industry and have a degree in biology. And i do have very good bone structure, like i mentioned in my original post it appears at a low bodyfat. Look at the link I posted to see an example of what happens to good bone structure when it gets covered.

My question isn't vague either - i'm literally asking "if people have had, or seen, or know of procedures (such as acculift) having the capacity to remove high levels of facial fat".

There just isn't any information on the internet - it's all very vague or sparse with english searches and there aren't really any examples of males doing it. All the western plastic surgeons in every single thread seem ignorant about it.

I can't find anything so I have come to these forums to find people who seem knowledgable about this sorta stuff. It looks like if the procedure DOES exist for my needs (high volume removal) then it's going to be from korea and you can't access that information using english google searches.

Surely somebody has something on here...

I have a similar problem as well,

was wondering if anyone had any good advice whether to pursue buccal fat removal (removing the fat pad by teasing) or acculift lipo laser??

Vline surgery is your answer

@walkge, yes buccal fat removal and acculift will remove and lessen facial fat. However I believe that your age also plays a big factor (aside from bone structure) on whether or not you're a good candidate for those procedures. Facial fat naturally lessens as you age, so if you're in your early to mid twenties, you might look good after those procedures for a few years, but then after those few years, you'll look older than your chronological age. Keep in mind also, at whatever the age, some remaining fat may be desirable, to help retain a youthful appearance. If all fat was removed, there may be undesirable side effects, like shadows and lines casted in areas you'd rather have smooth, and less taught/looser skin b/c of lost volume. I believe to counteract some of those side effects, additional procedures would be needed, like SMAS lifts (to "pull/tighten" the tissues/skin and make more taught) and/or fillers to fill back up hallowed areas. Best bet would be to find a board certified specialist who's very experienced and have an in-person consultation, who's able to examine your face's constitution (perhaps with special imaging equipment like MRIs) and able to take into account both present and future considerations and generally predict the outcomes before deciding on a specific procedure and technique. Good luck!

Thanks - very helpful post. I am moving onto the consultation phase of thinking soon, will be tricky however as i will most likely do this over in South Korea.

I've read often that face fat lessens with age, but this is not true with my genetic line. My mother and her parents and brothers/sisters all look more fat in the face as they have aged than they did when young so I don't think I will have that problem.

I'd prefer to go too far anyway, and as you say, fix it up later. I don't want any of it if I can get it that way. I also find that many older actors still look good when gaunt in the face - it's a desirable look that gets people noticed.
