butterysticks Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 It's great to hear that your boyfriend is having such good results with the procedure. Ahhh, thinking about it makes me excited!! If you don't mind me asking, how is he feeling now? Did a bit of the fat come back during post op period? Would you know how long this effect would last for? Also, was there any preparations for this procedure? Did he have a reason why he chose power v rather than acculift since they're very close procedures? I'm currently going on a diet to see how much fat I can lose on my face. They're pretty stubborn... ><
hj88 Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 Now he is feeling very confident and cocky la hahah But there is no residual pain or anything, if that's what you mean. No fat has come back. However he does work hard at his diet and exercise to keep fat At bay. He is genetically prone to put on weight easily so he tries to work out regularly. I believe the result is supposed to be permanent but I would check with the doctor. He chose Power V because he was really comfortable with the doctor at TL and felt he could trust his recommendation. Especially because the doctor told him he didn't need the chin implant procedure so save your money. He felt like he wasn't just trying to upsell him something useless but was actually finding the best work around for his particular problem.
zinot Posted September 30, 2016 Posted September 30, 2016 thank you for this thread! I hope someone can see this even though the last post was over a year ago - i have some questions because i was thinking of getting v-line jaw reduction surgery but to be honest I am a little scared. also the thought of sagging puts me off the idea... does doing acculift or power V make you look older? I want a slimmer and smaller face with less fat around the jaw/chin area BUT i like having chubby cheeks if that makes sense. I think chubby cheeks look youthful?
