I've written about my experience there before - you can search my old posts. Put it this way - if they can't even be trusted for filler, surgery with them is out of the question IMO
hanohano Posted April 30, 2015 Posted April 30, 2015 Not to sound like a know-it-all, but If you're interested in Korean PS, generally avoid extremely large clinics like this (unless you've done the research and the clinic has a good reputation, b/c a few do). "PS Factories" like ID, Wonjin and Grand are known for doctor swapping, botching surgeries and even anesthesia-related deaths. Grand is actually one of the most-sued clinics in Korea.

Just interesting they seem to be big but there is not much on these forums . I went for a consultation there and felt it was okay . I was not impressed with JW? Anyway got me thinking thinking. Ummmm . I actually asked my contact about this incident and they reassure me head surgeon will be on top of it. I wish I did more research now. When I met Dr Ryu he assign a doctor for each of the procedures and I will then meet them. I ask them about hearing doctor swap said won't happen. Do I trust that then? I only learnt about that death from this forum. I am going to get corrective lipo. had it done on 365mc but notice not flat. Breast lift. Would anyone else recommend I go somewhere else. I thought Grand was suppose to be good .
k-couture Posted May 7, 2015 Posted May 7, 2015 before you decide on Grand, i suggest researching the surgeons who you were assigned to each procedure. It is common large clinics to assign junior or training surgeons to make up for the large volume of patients they have. So if you really decide to go to Grand, you must make sure you are having the senior surgeons perform the surgeries and the senior surgeons only. Not only that, you also have to make sure you are getting the senior surgeons who specialize in those particular procedures you are doing. good luck
cxflygirl Posted May 8, 2015 Author Posted May 8, 2015 Thanks for feedback but yes decided on Grand. Had good sense but not until I read on forum I am starting to have ???! Did I make the right choice. I had lipo at 365mc and getting corrective surgery at grand plus breast lift in sept .

pearldiamond Posted May 17, 2015 Posted May 17, 2015 Co-incidentally my surgery at Grand took place the same date you started this thread. I am on the whole satisfied with the results. I am not too pleased with my eye though it could be early days. Pictures don't lie especially my pictures taken the night before surgery and after. My heart was set on Girin but changed after my consultation with Grand.
