chibiowl Posted April 30, 2015 Posted April 30, 2015 Hi purseforum, I saw another forum thread "AUS Male..." so I figured I should try posting on my case as well and hope to to get some responses and opinions on it. Right now I'm considering facial countouring surgery, mainly zygoma reduction for my and v-line surgery. I've already decided to get eyelid surgery so please don't mind me using my amateur paint skills to cut my eyes out of the pictures. I'm pretty much set on the v-line surgery as I dislike my protruding jawline as seen in the side profile picture. So my main question is this: Should I go for the Zygoma Reduction surgery? Some guys can pull off cheekbones, some guys can't. I'm having difficulty deciding whether I can. Not going for it will make it much easier for me financially, as well as allow me to go for the surgery trip sooner as I need lesser time to save the money. For example, some examples of people who pull off cheekbones are Hyun Bin, as well as this other person who posted a blogpost of his plastic surgery, Daryl Yow. (pictured below) SOOO... PLEASE HELP ME, THANKS!
ladysapphire Posted April 30, 2015 Posted April 30, 2015 honestly, I don't think you should do it. you look fine just as you are
sodium Posted April 30, 2015 Posted April 30, 2015 I think your zygoma are not protruding too much, perhaps it's not worth to get it done. The other guy in the photo you posted looks like his zygoma are similar to yours, except he has more fat in his cheeks. Perhaps fat graft or fillers could get the look you would like to achieve in your upper face. As for the bottom half of your face, your mouth seems to protrude a little bit and you have a weak chin even though you have an underbite. I think the best solution would be braces or 2-jaw surgery. I guess you could have fillers or an implant for your weak chin but it wouldn't really fix your underbite and protruding mouth completely, you would still have the same looking mouth but without a weak chin.
chibiowl Posted April 30, 2015 Author Posted April 30, 2015 Well, I'm actually not looking for any particular look, not specifically trying to look like that guy in the photo. At this point I'm ready to settle for anything that is generally considered attractive that I can get. Its funny you mention that I have an underbite because at least from the alignment of my teeth, I don't have one. XD But thanks on your input for my protruding mouth, 2 jaw surgery is a little too expensive for me but I will consider braces or chin augmentation. In fact, chin surgery sounds about right because the guy in that picture did go for it and he came out looking great: Just for reference, he had 3 surgeries: forehead, eyelid and chin surgery.
poohbear Posted April 30, 2015 Posted April 30, 2015 I think you look perfect just the way you are!!!
inhyeong Posted May 1, 2015 Posted May 1, 2015 In all honesty, you are a very attractive guy! Nothing is needed, but for your side profile, you could get a chin implant.
lenna-wendy Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 u look fine~~ what do u mean by "pull off cheekbone"? i dont think u nid cheek reduction. two jaw surgery will do! u juz nid fat grafting/filler on yr cheek area n rhinoplasty?
babysevenohx Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 I don't think you need a zygoma reduction. I would suggest looking into a chin implant/fillers (small chin at that) to lengthen it just a tad. And also look into surgery to pull back your protruding chin/under mouth! However again, I'm not a doctor. Your best bet would be to get a doctor to look at it (a couple docs are the best), compare and see if you agree, and then go ahead and doing it.
copenhagen78 Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 completely agreed. you look fine!!! if i were you i will consider chin implant instead.
bigjaw Posted June 15, 2015 Posted June 15, 2015 U look fine. Not like me i have wide jaw. I need vline surgery
rinda10 Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 i don't think you need neither jaw reduction nor zygoma reduction you looks really attractive!!
emsomeo Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 Yeah your chin need to move forward , your case is not complicate .
motty26 Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 dude u dont need any surgery at all, just change your haircut!
