sunrise2006 Posted May 7, 2015 Posted May 7, 2015 Hi everyone, Some forumers asked me share my experience in DREAM clinic so now I decide to make a new topic. My English is not good so thats why sometime Im difficult to share my experience. If there is something you dont understand or want to know details, let ask me in this topic, I will try to reply quickly. As I told, before the trip, I had read a lot information in this forum to choose the clinic. Firstly, I choose Teium for my eyes (I have double eye lids but small lid, ptosis and make me look tired and older). But my friend decide to have both nose and eye surgery only one week before our trip so I had try to choose the other clinic. And we have only 7 days in Seoul so we want to have surgery right the day we come to have consultation. My first choice for both nose and eye is JW, but unfortunately , we cant book a slot for surgery with Dr Suh at the same day we come to have consultation. So that, we choose Dream Clinic and April31 because they seem to be famous about nose job and also good in eyes job. We also want to book with Real but they didnt reply my booking email. After the flight, we went to Dream to have consultation at 10 a.m. As some forumers told, we choose Ms Lee as the consultant. She is very nice, friendly She adviced me make non-incision DES and lateral (I dont know exactly the name), because I have no fat in lids so I dont need to make incision DES. She gave my friends a lot of B&A photo about nose surgery to choose. After that, we came to see Dr Park. Dr Park answered all our questions but I feel he didnt care much about each of us. Its quite difficult to express but he answered shortly, simply, no more details, not alot advices. May be he thought it's only small surgery (( But at that time, the reasons make us decide to choose Dream is: 1. Dr Park can make our surgery after consultant. Althought we had book a consultation in April31 right after Dream, but we didn't know if we could have surgery soon. 2. Dream is quite big and professional clinic with 6 floors, with good profile doctors. And the important is they are quite famous in nose surgery, with many good reviews in PS . 3. And... the price that Ms Lee gave me is very reasonalble compare with JW and April 31. The price for rhinoplasty is about 6ml kw in April 31 ; 4,5 to 5,5 ml kw in JW and only 3,4 ml kw in Dream . I will continue tomorrow, it's so late now
sunrise2006 Posted May 8, 2015 Author Posted May 8, 2015 Note: The price I get in Dream after bargaining. Weve done eye and nose jobs. And Dream now has a promotion for eye surgery. The prices in JW and April31 are only initial, I aske them through Kakao. After considering with those reasons, we decided to choose Dream, so we cancel the consultation with April31 and JW. I had non-incision DES by Dr Park in 40 minutes, epi and lateral by Dr Anna in 2 hours (because I want my eyes look bigger). My friend had rhinoplasty, eyes bag removing. Dr Park made her bridge higher by sillion, and used ear catilage for her tip, by close method, in 2 hours. Dr Woo made removing her eyes bag, in 2 hours. I know all our surgeries are small, non invasive surgeries, but indeed I feel scary during and after the surgery  . Its almost not pain but local anaesthetic is very uncomfortable with me. 3 hours after the surgeries, we left Dream at 12 pm. My eyes and my friends nose were not swollen much at that time. We were bruise and swollen most in the second day and the third day. It reduced very slowly in the days after. We were removed stiches last Monday (the 7th day after surgeries). Now is the 11th day after surgeries, my eyes is almost natural, a litle bit bruise. My friends nose and eyes are still quite bruise, under her eyes, till to her cheeks and chin. My photos: Before, with a litle bit eye lash extension Two days after non-incision DES, epi, lateral 5 days After all, the most important is the results. I will continue
lilmiss97 Posted May 8, 2015 Posted May 8, 2015 do you always have to use ear cartilage in rhinoplasty? 😱
pazzion Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 Would your friend mind to share her photo? I also plan to do rhinoplasty and eye bag removal.
sunrise2006 Posted May 9, 2015 Author Posted May 9, 2015 Thank u, chlak5. But I still feel dissapointed because my eyes are almost not different anything after epi and lateral. I hoped them bigger or at least look something change, but not. I see the non-incision DES procedure make my eyes look better. But now my eye lids are quite small. They look good and natural but i'm very afraid that they will be smaller after a month like some forummer said ((. And one more important thing is the symmetry. As you see, my right eye is more swollen and bruise than my left eye. Now my eyes are almost no swelling and bruise, but my right eye lid is still smaller than my left eye lid. I will post more photos. To Pazzion: Yes, she is willing to share, and i will send you her photos through Kakao . My id is Sunrise2006. Now i can't say anything about her result because her face is still swelling and bruise. Her eyes are ok but i don't think it will be a very good result for her nose
wishingstar Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 Aww sorry to hear you and your friend are not happy with your results so far! Hope the results get better as time goes on. I was also unsatisfied with my nose job at Dream last year and am going back for revision. May I ask what your friend doesn't like about her new nose so far?
lanvinfiend Posted May 10, 2015 Posted May 10, 2015 Sunrise, I love your eyes!! I think they look great, and they're healing so nicely. They look bigger, especially the lids, and longer/more opened up. It's early days (5 days is way too early to worry about asymmetry), so I'm sure they will even out some. How do you find the healing time for lateral? Were you told of any side effects from lateral? I'm trying to find out more about this procedure, cos it doesn't seem as popular as epi, and I've heard about potential slanting.
k-couture Posted May 10, 2015 Posted May 10, 2015 Don't worry just let yourself heal and do not be paranoid. Its a common mistake for patients who are freshly post op to stress out because they are not prepared for the healing process. Your superficial swelling last 2-3 weeks and your final results will only show at around the 6 month mark. For nose, especially for asians who have thicker tissues the swelling period last longer. I remembered my first every nose job the gradual change when you take pictures each week is astonishing. Also for uneven swelling and bruising is perfectly normal and nothing to worry about. Just keep reminding yourself, you are healing and what you are experiencing is perfectly normal. Even for those who heal faster than others, final results are only visible months down the track
popcorndreams Posted May 10, 2015 Posted May 10, 2015 Why are you guys unhappy with your nose at Dream? I was planning on getting rhino there.
lolipop32swiss Posted May 10, 2015 Posted May 10, 2015 Sunrise give it some time to tell for your final results. After surgery and during this recovery time you will have up and down. Quite common but it will get better day after day but you gotta be patience. Think positive. Some after surgery dont look good as you do now even à during swelling time
sunrise2006 Posted May 10, 2015 Author Posted May 10, 2015 7 days, after removing stiches 2 weeks Thank you all for your nice words. May be I’m quite negative, and may be I expected too much about doing plastic surgeries in Korea . That’s why I try to tell my story and post my photos to let you assess by yourself. Now my eyes are absolutely normal, no pain, no swelling, no itchy, no bruise. I really really hope my eyes still the same day by day, not change anymore . My friend’s eyes are also healing well. I think her eyes are improved well after removing eye bags, no scar, no swelling (only after 4 – 5 days). Her nose is better too, but the tip is still round . I really hope it will be shapper as time goes by, as some of you said. Lanvinfiend: Dr Anna didn’t tell me about the side effects or epi or lateral. She said they would make my eye bigger, a little bit. And I think my lateral and epi jobs were healing well, align with the healing time of non-incision DES. Only first several days, I feel very itchy because the stiches. As you see, I have nearly no scar from epi and lateral. May be my incisions are too tiny, especially in lateral, where i can't see the incision. Popcorndreams, Wishingstar: As I said, her tip now is quite round, her bridge is not shapper much (after 2 weeks). She has to wait several months to see the final result. I will update more. If you want, i can send you her photos through Kakao .
pazzion Posted May 10, 2015 Posted May 10, 2015 Sunrise2006, Thanks your friend in advance for her willingness to share her photos. I searched and tried to add you through Kakao but no result found for ID Sunrise2006. Btw my ID is passion.
pazzion Posted May 10, 2015 Posted May 10, 2015 your 2 weeks post operation photo looks great and heals fast.
pazzion Posted May 10, 2015 Posted May 10, 2015 wishingstar, may I ask what did you unsatisfied with your nose job done at dream last year? I am considering to do nose job at dream soon.
