sheonlylooks25
Hi again Thanks for your detailed answer. Is Dr Jo - Yong-Woo Jo? You are such a great client no wonder he goes the extra mile for your mum. I'm 66 and single and still working as an executive assistant so can't afford my makeover until my inheritance comes through. My dear old dad lived until his 90's and past last year so I am waiting for the probate to come through. Your mum is lucky to have you in her life as you sound like a really 'good daughter' and so supportive. So as I can't afford my makeover, it's lucky I don't look over the hill because ageism is rife in the workplace and I am SO LUCKY to be still employed and working. I sent my pics to Eu at The Line and she wrote back asking if "I have had work done". NO WAY I can't even afford Botox or fillers. KC if you have time on your hands- I would love your honest opinion on Wave PS in Los Angeles. Trouble is in the before and afters nearly EVERYONE looks older than me! They do endoscopic midfacehttp://waveplasticsurgery.com/before-after-photo-gallery/endoscopic-midface-lift/ I look about the age of PATIENT 3 and FULL FACELIFTS http://waveplasticsurgery.com/before-after-photo-gallery/facelift/ I look about the age of PATIENT 5 HOW do these results COMPARE to Dream? Thanking you in advance
k-couture
Yeah Jo Yong Woo did her surgery. I don't know much about wave plastic surgery besides what I have read on the forums about it. Based on those pictures the results are very comparable to Dr Jo's work. But I wouldn't choose any clinic based on before and hands. Its one of the least accurate factors in selecting your surgeon. One reason amongst many being that alot of clinics use photoshop inaccurately enhance their photos. You should go consult with different surgeons and then do a comparison of their proposed methodology and the logic behind their proposed methodology. Thats a much more sound approach to finding the right surgeon for you
nestlee
How much arnica/bromelain do people typically take after surgery? (I'm planning on doing eyelids.)
k-couture
actually something much better than arnica and bromelain, a deswelling injection. Upon request my mum got what one of those 5th day post op and the surgeon says its much much more effective. I don't actually know the name of the drug they injected but according to her it was a painful injection. Tho her pain threshold is low and she complains about everything ha... nestlee
Oh wow thanks! My pain tolerance is really low too but it might be worth it lol I will have to see if they offer it.
am78
why not buy them online? i bought some online a few weeks before i made my trip to korea. ironically the pills were shipped from korea but i reckon they were cheaper then buying them in a pharmacy there

happybunny88
Glad that your mum got good facelift results Argh wish I remembered to buy bromelain before coming to Korea. Hope some PS patients see this thread before coming to Seoul, and remember to buy their bromelain/arnica before coming.
erichyung
Bromelain is not too hard to find, but arnica is hard
helloyou0116
For me, it’s the other way around. You can get Arnica Montana from a brand called SINECCH. It comes with 12 capsules. You can purchase it almost at every pharmacy in Korea. Maybe they have Bromelain but I couldn’t find it. Anyway, good luck researching everyone! girl-from-mars
Haha I brought some Arnica from home, I don't mind swapping with someone for bromelain lol. Arnica is more for bruising, and luckily I don't really bruise.
erichyung
REALLY REALLYREALLY?! Weird I got bromelain so easily, I asked for surgery pills and the lady gave me bromelain straightaway. Expensive though, 20 pills $35. How much did the arnica cost? The last time I went to some clinic and they ripped me off at 80 bucks for it. Got arnica phobia since then Ive tried the arnica pills before, didn't seem to do anything... Heard pellets might be better or cream. Anyone tried both?
