Hiii, It's really great to hear about your good experience with April31 since I'm planning on consulting with them for my nose too. ^^
So how do you like your new nose? I would love to hear more about it

I want to do both nose and eyes like you too, but I havent heard much about eyes surgeries from April31. I'm trying to find a clinic that excels in both but so far I havent got anything yet

I'm still doing my research so I hope to know more about your recovery process soon ^^
Thank you for sharing

I think the eye doctor I consulted with at April31 is doctor Oh. He seems to be a senior eye
doctor too but I wasnt so interested in doing eye anymore when I consulted with April31 after consulting different doctors who suggested to me different procedures for eyes.

Sorry everyone for late updates. I left Korea a couple of days ago and have been traveling so couldnt really spend time to write.
Im day 12 post op now and I like my nose so far though Im not 100% happy yet. Everyone tells me I should be patient as the final results can only be seen after 6 months or so. That why Im being just patient. lol. And wake up every day looking at my nose first thing. I've been always obsessed with my nose. Before surgery I was obsessed with my nose coz I hated it so much. Now Im obsessed with my nose coz I wanna see how it changes each day lol.

Day 2- Day 5 post op
Swelling peaked at day 2 and my eyes were so swollen and ugly. Anyway I didnt care. I went out all day shopping and eating. I ended up buying a lot of Korean skin care products and ate lots of Korea food. Did I mention that I love Mandu ( Korean dumpling) so much that I ate almost every lol.
Swelling started to subside at day 3 and at day 5 I looked really okay. I had my cast and some stitches this day. I had minimum dressing after day 5, only a few bandages. Brian said its because I was healing very well. I met doctor Kim and he explained to me briefly what he did with my nose, and told me he put a thick silicon impant on my nose: 6mm lol. I really had zero bridge.

Day 7: I had my stitches and bandages removed this day. I was set to leave Korea the following day. I went to the clinic earlier for my appointment. I was excited to have everything removed and finally could see my new nose. The nurse greeted me and gave me a complimentary laser deswelling treatment. So nice of her. I met Brian and we discussed the nose one more time before I leave Korea.

Day 8: I put on makeup and went to the airport. My nose looked very natural that people didnt know I just had a nose surgery, and a recent one. Some people even talked to me in Korean, even the air stewardess lol. I told the girl who was sitting next to me about that and she said maybe because I looked somewhat Korean that they talked to me in Korean lol.

My friends and family say my face change drastically after putting in this made in Korea nose. I must agree with them. I think its because my nose was really very ugly before surgery while my eyes n mouth looked pretty cute. Now with a nice nose really complements other features of my face, making the whole face nicer and slimmer.

Anyway Im only day 12 post op and my nose is still swelling n very hard. I cant really feel it either lol. Im waiting for the swelling to subside more to see how it is changing.

Hi msnaive,

Thanks for sharing your experience. I going to Seoul in the Fall and am considering rhinoplasty though initially just tiplasty. My nose is average and I think if I could just refine the tip it would look nicer. I would love to see before and after pictures if you are comfortable sharing?

Also, did you buy any extra stuff such as vitamins/arnica gel cream/other stuff that helps post op?

Sorry everyone for late updates. My nose results turn out to be disappointing, not as I expected at the beginning. For those who are interested in seeing B&A please inbox me your kakao. In sorry Im not going to send my pics to emails or any other means since not having kakao is not an excuse. If you are really interested you just need to download and create an account, as easy as ever.

So many people PM asking whats the problems with my nose that makes me unhappy so I decide to summarise here: Obviously deviated implant, too high and too long the implant, shown implant, uneven alars after alar reduction: one side is higher and smaller than the other, obvious scars due to stitches not properly cut I guess. Im 1.5 months post op now and my nose looks much worse than those who just did theirs. I really lost trust in doctor Kim and April31. I meant, how can he make such a lousy job????!!!

Hi msnaive, thank you for your review - I was thinking of consulting with April31 as I've heard that they were famous for their rhinoplasty... I'm sorry to hear that it didn't go well for you! Did you message the clinic to ask for a revision?

Thank you so much for sharing your experiences and I'm sorry about your results. I consulted with April31 after reading your earlier posts and actually just had my revision rhinoplasty done there. The consultation was very thorough and they really made me feel comfortable throughout the entire procedure. I hope the results will be good as this is my third revision.

I was wondering when you started noticing issues with your new nose. I read your earlier posts and it sounded like all was going well in the first two weeks post-op. Any signs of improvement now? Thanks!

I hope you will be satisfied with your results, Iwang. I started to notice the problems after removing the cast. My nose was deviated and my alars were uneven. But I couldnt see the obvious scars n shown implant till recently. I told them about the problems and they kept telling me it was due to the swelling and my bone structure and it will get better. I believed them and I believe it will get better. However, over time it has not gotten any better. In fact it gets worse coz due to the deswelling the implant is shown more obviously and the tip becomes more define thus the alars become even more noticably uneven. There are also very obvious scars from alar incision, I guess its because the stiches were not properly cut. I've been talking with Brian about the revision and before I left the clinic he assured me that I will get free revision in case my problems are not getting better. However now Brian told me he tried to get me pay as less as possible for the revision if I want to. I was like??? Now I dont feel like I can trust they will deliver their promises.

I know how you feel as I was quite unhappy with my previous rhinoplasty and it bothered me so much. I really hope that your nose will turn out better after revision if you do end up getting one. I actually had it done three times, twice in Korea so feel free to pm me if you're interested in getting more info on the other clinic I went to.
