dorem Posted May 7, 2016 Posted May 7, 2016 How long would face swelling for face lipo last? I have only 6 days off before I have to go back to work and am hoping facelipo does not have much swelling.
hally85 Posted July 26, 2016 Posted July 26, 2016 Hi I just came back from Seoul after liposuction for the inner and out thigh and hip line. I would recommend 365 mc where I did the procedure. My problem was not only the fat but also the uneven skin that i was born with in my right thigh. In addition I didnt have a nice shape or perfect smooth line from the upper waist area to the thighs area which bothered me for years. Staff at 365 mc were really nice and helpful. Doctor was amazing and he explained to me in details what can be done. After 13 days post the liposuction I see already a difference. I was told that it will look much better two months post the surgery when all the swelling dissappears. You need to remember that liposuction is not a weight loss solution but only works on the shape of your body. It is a begining of a better life and results will be better if accompanied with healthy lifestyle.
mellisa Posted July 26, 2016 Posted July 26, 2016 Hello~~ Can I ask you the price? I am thinking to have lipo next year. I heard 365mc offer the most expensive price so I want to compare it with the clinic that I am planning to have a consultation....
littleandmucho Posted March 29, 2017 Posted March 29, 2017 Hi all, I work and live in Korea and I always dream of having slim body but I’m more of the chubby side. People around me say that I don’t look that fat but I always envy those skinny girls who look good in anything because they’re skinny… I have to be mindful of what I wear or I might appear chubbier than before! I tried dieting before and somehow for me belly, breast and face fat are easy to get rid of. But! Arms, back and thigh seem don’t even budge. I had really strict diet, basically I went paleo and I obtained my goal weight but the line that I want don’t come out! No matter what the scale say, I still look chubby because in the entire place where it’s visible (arms and thigh) I’m fat and in the unseen (belly and waist) I’m slim. Eventually I was at the end of my forced self-discipline, disappointed and tired. I broke my paleo diet and return to normal human being diet. I somehow still maintain my weight but since summer last year my weight went back to original weight before I started dieting at first. I was devastated. I see myself didn't fit to my old clothes but I kinda ignore it until well I’m back to the place I started. Honestly, I don’t think I can do paleo anymore. Paleo diet consumes all my resources, time, money and smile. I was always in a bad mood because my diet was super strict and I thought that’s what will work for me but it’s not. In order to get the body line that I want, I decided to get liposuction. I committed an hour a day for about 3 weeks for liposuction research. There are lots and lots and lotsssss of plastic surgery clinic in Korea. I feel I’m super lost and at first I don’t know where to start, well if you’re like me there’s still hope. Just invest an hour a day and you’ll find the place that you’ll like. So after researching, it turns up that 365mc is the biggest and most famous liposuction clinic in Korea. Their service seems great and I went to have consultation over there BUT they are super expensive!! I’m not ready to spend that much money. Basically there are 2 kinds of liposuction clinic: the one that charge you per how much fat you need to remove or the other one who charge you with the same price no matter you’re chubby or obese. I went on an adventure and had many consultations at different clinic. I’m not saying that one is bad and the other is good, because it’s just marketing strategy and it’s ok. But I will give you a very important tip: if the clinic charge you per how much fat you need to remove and they charge you without even performing sonography test to see how much fat you actually get, RUN! Some of the clinics I went just look at my flabby arms with their plain eyes and said I need to remove 3L of fat from my arms. 3L! 2 bottles of big coke! How can you know that from your plain eyes?! Honestly if they do that, walk away because they’re just ripping you off. But if the clinic charge you after they perform sonography test then it’s ok, it means they’re being honest with you. Not all fat can be removed by liposuction surgery. If the clinic care for your safety then they will only remove fat above your muscle. All the fat under your muscle shouldn't be removed because it will damage your muscle system. (Sonography machine to check out how thick your fat layer is) Doctor skill is very important in liposuction because if he’s not skilled then you can have uneven skin texture. I’m talking about braided bread rolls kind of unevenness. So you have to be careful. That’s why it’s not good to remove too much fat because you still want to have smooth skin after liposuction. So remember I told you that 365mc is good? Sadly I cannot afford them even with discount and promotion so I look for other clinics with doctor who worked with 365mc before. (If you have Korean ID card then you can get discount and promotion. Sorry guys.) That’s why I finally made up my mind and choose to get surgery at Dual clinic. I was hesitating at first because I got to say that their staff isn’t the friendliest and the consultant kinda forced me into surgery. I don’t want to over think too much and based on the price and doctor’s past work experience I chose Dual clinic. I’m going to get liposuction on my arms, armpit and back. I want to look pretty when I wear strapless one piece. So flabby back fat has to go away too! The price that I pay already includes everything from surgery, compression garment, 3 times low frequency therapy for swelling and appetite control medicine for 6 weeks. (I ended up not getting the appetite control medicine because my problem is indigestion and slow metabolism.) I had surgery on March 25th with Dr Jeong Rae Jun I thought I already prepared myself for this but when he put some design drawing on my body I felt so nervous and shy And I literally was gripped by fear when I enter the surgery room. This is it!! The nurse poke IV drip for my sleeping sedation at my feet and it hurts!! I had to lie on my stomach for the beginning of the surgery because they're going to start with my back. The nurse said that they will flip me around later and I feel bad for them because I'm heavy. Jokingly they said: much heavier people than you get this surgery all the time. Doctor came and he advised me to sleep on my cheek instead of my chin because it'll be more comfortable. Next time I wake up I was already at the ward. I feel really dizzy and after some recovery time the nurse gave me porridge to eat. (Vegetable porridge. My throat hurts so bad, I suffer every time I swallow anything) So before the surgery they gave me injection on my butt to reduce phleghm. That injection really dries up my throat. I never had dry throat like that in my life. After eating I tried to be strong and walk to the toilet. Doctor came back to show me that he took out 1700cc from my arms and back. Remember other clinic said I had 3L? What will happen if I went there and they remove 3L of I don't know what from my arms and back?? I feel like I want to take my fat home for memory but it might be not a great idea (1700cc of fat) I got discharged and I regret not buying my medicine before surgery or not having anybody to help me. Trying to find pharmacy that still open at 7PM on Saturday while I'm still weak and dizzy is no joke. My smart ass saved me because I called all the pharmacy around the clinic to check if they're open. And after almost getting killed on the cross road finally I got my medicine and ready to go home and sleep some more.
littleandmucho Posted March 29, 2017 Posted March 29, 2017 So this is my update until around 2 weeks after surgery (Front) (Back) (Side) (Back) Tips: cut your nails before liposuction surgery. Long nails and compression garment are not good friend At first you'll be swelling like pig but it will go down eventually. Don't panic and try to be positive! Even until now my swelling is still going down more and more! I feel so happy with my new arm and back line
makotaco Posted March 29, 2017 Posted March 29, 2017 Hi littleandmucho, Thank you so much for your post! So informative and helpful. I'm planning to go to Korea in April for a Power V lift and lipo (arm and abdominal). I'm planning to go by myself, so I am pretty nervous and scared to go through the whole process by myself. I actually had two clinics in mind for the lipo: 1) Evita - very affordable, $2k abdominal, $1.5k arm + back 2) Change clinic - very pricey, probably due to the foreigner pricing Personally I didn't know about Dual clinic until I read your post. Kudos. Do you have any recommendation what to prepare for prior to the surgery? Its hard enough that I'm just visiting by myself, and not speaking the language so I want to come well prepared. I hope your recovery will continue to go well for you littleandmucho!!! I do love your arm recovery
makotaco Posted March 29, 2017 Posted March 29, 2017 I can't find Dual clinic's website. Is it possible for you to post their website? Thanqqqqq I can't find Dual clinic's website. Is it possible for you to post their site? Thanqqqqqq!
