So I'll be doing Paranasal implant ( using bone), 3D zygoma reduction, acculift for under the chin, and foreheadbfat graft at Braun's tomorrow afternoon. I will be updating my progress and comments in this post. As usual, feel free to ask me anything!

As I have said in my older post, I have always been interested in quick zygoma reduction. There are countless of plastic surgery hospitals that offers quick zygoma reduction (some under names such as 30 min zygoma reduction or mini zygoma reduction), Namu, Iwell, Tlps, Braun and Theline just to name a few.

And to be honest, the theory and process behind quick zygoma reduction does sound like a dream. A minor cut at the bone of your side zygoma and an inward push to reduce the width of the bones of cheekbones while you're dosed up in a less severe concoction of sleeping drugs and local anaesthesia is quite tempting for those whom are afraid of the severity of both the price and concern of the more traditional 3D zygoma reduction.

However, after having 3 different doctors expaining to me that quick zygoma reduction is unsuitable for my case, I have decided to undergo 3D zygoma reduction instead.

With my case, it is my 45 zygoma angle that protrudes rather than the width of my side zygoma. While the quick zygoma reduction can reduce the width of my side zygoma, it can not do much about my 45 angle. Therefore, quick zygoma reduction will have very little effect on me.

Comparatively, (to my surprise) the price between quick zygoma reduction (around 2,500,000 won for locals) and 3D zygoma reduction (around 3,500,000 to 6,000,000 won for head doctor, also local price) is not too much of a difference.

As for my Paranasal implant, I shall be using the leftover bone taken out of my zygoma from my 3D zygoma reduction and to be placed under my nose wing area to fill up the gauntness of my paranasal area. For those who are interested in Paranasal impants, please note that there are 3 types of implants.

Silicone implants

Ear cartilage implants

Bone implants

( I believed all 3 impants are priced the same, which is around 2,500,000 won for locals )

And before I forget, these are my prices from Braun;

3D zygoma reduction - 4,000,000 (original price 6,000,000)
Paranasal Implant - 1,000,000 (original price 2,500,000)
Acculift for chin - 1,000,000 (original price 1,000,000)
Forehead fat graft - 1,200,000 (original price 2,500,000)

Total price 7,200,000 won. 10 percent tax included.

That's it's for now, I shall continue after my surgery tomorrow. Wish me luck!

Good luck! I'm interested to see how the bone imolant works out for you. Hopefully you won't be able to see it when you smile or talk!

Hey girls and guys! So I had my surgery yesterday at 4 pm (was supposed to be at 2, but got delayed) and finished at 10, was allowed to leave at 12 30. So far, the one surgery that actually hurts ( in a scale from 1 to 10, I'll say it's a 3, nothing too major) is my zygoma reduction. And it's more of a toothache kind of hurt. Like growing your wisdom teeth hurt. Everything else does not hurt.

Nope. The pain is not from the incision, but from the zygoma bone. But by now it's more like a slight ache.

No English consultant whatsoever from their side. But they do have an Chinese translator, but the Chinese translator will up the price by at least by 100 percent. So if you're going to braun, bring a trusted Korean friend and have them give you the local price. This pretty much works for most plastic surgery clinics in Korea.
