I started enquiring around for my husband because he has very serious droopy eyes. He needs to lift his brows everyday to see more clearly.

I asked a few PSes and so far the following has replied:
- Opera: Dr Lam (I chatted to him on wechat) says he needs a brow lift and ptosis correction. Cost would be 2 - 3.3m krw

- April 31: I chatted to Brian online, and he said ptosis correction alone will be about 3m. He wasn't a dr obviously so couldn't give me the same diagnosis as Opera

- Teium: Dr Kwon came back and recommended double eyelid with ptosis correction, Epicanthoplasty (after I already told him my husband isn't after bigger eyes), and browlift.
All up - 3.9-7.4m krw :faint:

- IOU: Dr Kang just said he has sever ptosis and sunken eyelid, and says he can correct his situation. Originally I asked for ptosis correction, and he just said it ranges from 3.5-4m

I'm still watiing for Item and Wonjin to come back. I'm leaning towards Opera because I can speak chinese and their prices are way to attractive. Also because we are only there for 8 days, Dr Lam was very good and he insisted that my husband needs 7 days to remove stitches. April 31 says 5-7 days, and Dr Kwon said 5 days!

What are you thoughts? Those who have gone to Opera, can you tell me how their after service is?

Or if you have experience with any others aside from those I have mentioned?

No experience with Opera but I have recovered from a brow lift before.

If there is one surgery that I regretted purely because of the scars it's this one.

Brow lift (I had endoscopic) leaves you with two MAJOR scars. Yes, they are in your hair but what no one tells you is that a) the hair takes months to grow back around the scar site b) sometimes the scars are just too big to hide with hair.

The scar sites themselves also caused me ongoing pain for quite a few years.

For guys I imagine the hair problem could be even worse if they end up with a receding hairline that goes all the way back to the scars.

Even 7 years later my scars sometimes get really itchy and sensitive and the hair around them falls out.

I would be very sure you desperately need this surgery before jumping in. In retrospect I probably just should have had botox.

Even though the results were great, those damn scars %^**

why dont you just get the botox for browlift ? safe and sound, no complication and still cheaper then PS for many years.

He has very severe ptsosis and whenever he needs to see clearly, he needs to lift his eyebrows. Since he has to do the ptosis correction, might as well do the browlift. It's not like he only just needs a browlift. Plus I'm sure he'd want to have a permanent effect.

Plus I thought botox only lasts for 6 months, I'm not even sure if it goes beyond 1 year.

Brow lift isn't permanent either. The results last 7-10 years, less the older you are (as you age quickly).
