luzie Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 Not necessary. This is only a marketing strategy. So far I have not seen any sponsored surgeries that looks bad but this is subjective. Saw a post that someone went for PS after reading a blogger review but ended up with botched job. The clinic is a reputable one in Seoul. She even complained that they(bloggers) received free surgery, therefore, they will definitely put nice words for the clinic and perhaps show nicely photoshopped photos.
uglyduck Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 Hi everyone, first post here! So glad I'm here. I was looking at Grand and Wonjin....not anymore! I don't know if this is the right thread, but can anyone explain to me the difference between mini v line, v line, and square jaw reduction? I am just now starting my research process (I anticipate it will be YEARS before I catch onto all of the lingo.) Also, what is Kakao? Sorry if these are all stupid questions...I'm just so lost!! lol
uglyduck Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 Also, is square jaw reduction +mini v line surgery the same thing as regular v line surgery?
ashofspades Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 Welcome to the forum! To answer your questions: mini v line = chin square jaw reduction = jaw v line = chin + jaw kakao = korean instant messaging app
babysnow95 Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 Since this thread is about Face Contour, for face contouring.
photomax Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 Hello... I'm planning to come to Korea on Dec 15 or 22nd, I'm waiting for Banobagi's reply before I can make my booking. If everything goes as planned I would stay for almost a month. This will be my first visit to Korea. I consulted many clinics in Korea and I felt Banobagi can do a better facial contouring than other clinics Has anyone done facial contouring (All For One) in Banobagi How was the outcome? and what was the price Thank you
orchidca Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 Hi Everyone, I spent a lot of time last year to read the forum, and wanted to go to Korea for my facelift, eye puffy, and nose revision. Didn't have a chance to make it, but plan to go next year 2016 in late February, if someone has the same plan, please let me know, we can help each other over there. I see very rare people mention about facelift, only one time KCouture told us she saw a Korea lady just has her facelift done at Dream and she looks pretty young like mid 30'. I definitely will have consultation with Dream if they still have two doctors who specialty in face and nose. I also ask EverM but seems like they more professional in dental shape. Item also the try in my list. I am not young any more, but do not like to look too old either, just want to look nice. So I will be very careful to find the right doctors for that. If anyone has any experience about these procedures, please be advised. Any inputs would be very appreciated.
valenrina Posted February 20, 2016 Posted February 20, 2016 I'm also thinking of doing facial contouring end of their year or early next year. I've got mixed recommendations so I'm kinda confused right now. Banobagi, DA, EverM recommended zygoma, Vline and genioplasty. The Face Dental throw out zygoma altogether because one of my concern is a slightly long face. When I went to Korea for Rhino last year Dec, Shin from KoreaDocFinder told me that TLPS has quite a high complaint rate and I recalled a forumer had a blotched surgery with them and TLPS is not exactly being very helpful. I'm narrowing my list to DA and The Face Dental. Interesting to hear about Wannabe. Probably will do a bit more research on time.
chloefinds Posted February 20, 2016 Posted February 20, 2016 I was looking at Opera, has anyone had any experiences with them?
misamiso Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 Thanks for sharing about TLPS. Did Shin tell you which surgeries had most of the complaints? Because I know they aren't well-known for rhino so I'm wondering if people aren't unsatisfied with their rhinos or if the facial contouring and breast augmentations also had a high complaint rate. I always thought Dr. Kim and Dr. Yim were quite skilled..
valenrina Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 He wasn't referring to rhino only surgery at TLPS but the no. Of complaints the clinic received in general. That's only the statistics he gathered and my opinion when I saw the post by the fellow forumer. I would suggest that you do your own through research and you could form an opinion of you own. Cheers!
jessicacorbyn Posted April 15, 2016 Posted April 15, 2016 Does DA have many complaints? I have heard TLPS is turning into "factory clinic".. :S
